Back from shopping which was harder work than i'd anticipated, but there is now no danger of a loo paper shortage... Also picked up a few bits in laura ashley sale for my present drawer while looking for a photo frame (which I didn't find). Washing isn't dry yet but the next lot is in as it can go in the dryer if necessary. Kayak has been put in the shed.

Need to try to get to the other b&q this afternoon as the one I went to this morning didn't have the border tiles I want so need to see whether they still have them (and have enough) or whether I'll have to come up with something else.

Thanks Gilly, but i think you would struggle to tighten the screws by hand as well. really needs the power of an electric screwdriver/drill to get it in that last little bit.

however ive now given him abuse via email for it so will leave it at that, and he now has the fun job! of building all the babys furniture by HAND when he gets home since his electric drill/screwdriver will be no use without the missing bit and he sure as hell wont be using MY electric screwdriver :rotfl:

    Update!

    my list for today is...

tidy hallway / hoover [STRIKE]top of hallway[/STRIKE] bottom and stairs
tidy livingroom / hoover / dust
    [STRIKE]wash dishes[/STRIKE] / [STRIKE]clean countertops[/STRIKE] / [STRIKE]sweep floor[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]get some washing on[/STRIKE] / [STRIKE]fold clothes[/STRIKE] / iron work uniform

not doing too badly, going to get the hallway finished next (after coffee!) since DD is hogging the livingroom at the moment with her wii fit. can't complain really, the thing cost a ton and she barely uses it grr :p
