we im up. not awake yet but im up. kids have nearly knackered my tv. its a struggle to get it turned on coz they have been so rough with the button. its covered by my contents insurance though. so so so many times i told them not to touch it but do they listen? do the heck!

weather is so shocking here again. the trampoline has moved across the garden in the wind. its a 10ft one so not light!

was meant to be going to the beach and having a bbq at my folks caravan today but the weather with them is awful too so its a trip to the soft play for the kiddies instead.

One load of washing in the machine. Small batch of ironing done (cushion covers from cushions brought back from Devon which I will mostly use in the garden). Clean curtains all packed into camphor wood chest (no point in outing them up till the bathroom is done, although I wil hopefully clean my bedroom and the spare room before then so some will be back up). Need to put all clean laundry away and work out where the sheets and towels that normally live in the airing cupboard can be stored while the bathroom work is being done.

Want to defrost one freezer today and get the contents sorted out so that food is not a problem when my mother is here.

Breakfast eaten. The sun is shining so I'm going to have a shower and get things set so that I can rest and potter outside between sorting indoor stuff.

Greenbee well done for being so calm about it, I don't know if I'd be able to resists screaming at his parents given their behaviour

Today's the day :) I've been looking forward to going away and think it's just what I need. Decided BD isn't coming with us it can stay here! Local bike show is on which happens just behind my house so will be noisy here, I usually go but this year giving it a miss .... Helichopter attending the display woke me up! I need to finish packing and there is loads to take being our first trip of the year.

Does anyone know where Dusty is?
One day I might be more organised...........

  • Another sleepless night here.

At 6.30am, I loaded the WM and DW and S&S the kitchen worktop, cleaned the hob and polished the sink. At 6.45am I was sweeping the front path in the warm sunshine.

After that, however, I was bad. I got into the bath at 7am and only got out at 9. I topped it up three times

Even discovered my legs and arms underneath my pelt with the help of a razor.:eek::eek:

I am all fluffy haired and smell of soap now :):):)

Going to stumble out to grab some bits and pieces (largely milk, butter, bread and bin bags) and then I am going to possibly do some vacuuming when I get back.
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.

One freezer emptied and defrosting. Washing on line. All garden furniture out, with clean cushions in clean covers so it looks lovely (would look more lovely if it had been mowed).

Now sorting this week's meal plan to use fridge and freezer contents....
