Pigpen - children can argue over anything & everything! Drives me nuts :o
Boddy - hope GS is ok, and he talks things through and accepts help

i have showered - then scrubbed the shower after. DH emptied the DW, then took the dog out with DS. They have picked LOADs of blackberries (it is still July, isn't it?) Does anyone know how to make bramble jelly? I am a jam novice and never tried before :o
DH is now painting fences (why now, I don't know!!)

I have dusted & polished the table & sideboard in the DR, hoovered through, chicken in the oven for dins, & spuds peeled. I need to crack on with dinner, 'cos I said 1 o'clock, and my step-dad is a bit funny about times. He gets really stressed if people are late, or things don't happen exactly as he has been told. I think he has undiagnosed Asperger's or ASD :( My step cousin is staying with them for a few days before she goes to Guatamala (sp?) for voluntary work for a year! Her dad died when she was 2, and her mum died last year (she is about 23 now), so she has no ties here. She is lovely, though we only see her about once a year (lives in Liverpool)

Dog has come back from his walk clean :j so he still smells ok!
Ok. I am going to finish my cuppa (4th of the day!!) and then go to the kitchen to do some cooking.

Just realised it is sunday, we're maybe going up to the beach tomorrow and staying until friday..:doh:Flip i need to start packing..

Hubby is now undecided about the job, FIL can't cope without him and has told him so. I'd rather he's at home so i can keep an eye on him. Hopefully he'll decide tonight one way or another and can phone them tomorrow morning. :)

So far i've washing out on the line, trainers in the wash, dw been emptied, ebay stuff for listing today put into piles, beds made and windows open. :D
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

ouch dancemum, take it easy and rest!

im off to do a quick tidy up in the spare room as OH's uncle is going to come and build the bedside table for me. the stupid cheap electric screwdriver is NAFF and no use for building flat pack furniture.

right im going to go and tidy the spare room, give my hair a brush and then go cut the grass again. plan is to do little and often with the grass so it doesnt get stupidly long again :)

Boddy your DGS has taken the first step by realising something is wrong; sending him strength vibes to walk the path out into the light again. And a (((HUG))) for you, also.

:eek:OMG!! Sorry, I did laugh - tbh, I really do not know how you cope and stay relatively sane (note, I said relatively).:D

:(Awww. Healing vibes on the way.

Bed linen all washed; all but the duvet cover is also dry and in the airing cupboard!:D

Mr LW is faffing about on GameSpy, in an effort to put off doing the ironing. It won't work - he's in the office 5 days next week, so needs to iron 5 shirts and 3 pairs of trousers. *evil laugh*

He hoovered the grass back and front yesterday, and said he'd also weeded the front, but I see there's still some hawkweed out there. I'll get him to come out with me (too scared to be out the front on my own :() and we'll nobble that a bit later - shouldn't take too long. Bless him, he tries, but in all honesty, he doesn't know his nettles from his nasturtiums!:rotfl:

Does anyone know where Dusty is?

Taking a break from the thread I think, she has been about on Facebook briefly though so I assume all is ok.

Greenbee - huge hugs, thinking of you. Shout if I can help.
