Well i've done !!!!!! all today, kids away with PIL, Rhys and hubby sleeping. Rhys has the runs and is very grumpy so i'll let him sleep for abit longer.
I really should have wrapped DS2's b'day pressie while he was away but it can wait until later (b'day on tuesday). Hubby's ebay stuff finished and he made nearly £35 so that should keep him happy. I haven't done any flying nor have i started packing yet. I HATE packing plus i need to sort a budget and meal plan for the week or we'll end up wasting money on takeaways. I really need to get more on ebay too..
Toots i think hubby tried to tell himself he should be working like everyone else and made a massive deal out of it. Now that he's decided not to work it's a weight lifted off him. He's spent the last few weeks taking out loans behind my back and going to car dealers to look at cars, so he's totally away ahead of himself. Hopefully he'll settle down abit better now.How are you feeling honey? Are you home yet?
Triker i hope all goes well this week for DD's op, positive vibes heading your way.Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0 -

GS1 has not been but I have had a message from him. He is at his other gran and grandads where he is staying at the moment. DD has seen him and is still worried. She has told me what I already suspected that its not just the drink thats affected him. I have sent him messages telling him he is loved.
Clean washing put away and HHE done.
ETA. Triker Meant to say positive vibes for DD.0 -
Sounds worrying Boddy - hope all is ok
We got back late yesterday thanks Toots and Greenbee - lovely break and the heat seems to have helped a lot with the general stiffness.
WM is on for the 4th time, luckily I had the sense to iron DH a shirt and me some work stuff before we went. The house is fairly clean and I hope I can keep it that way. DH has had a lightbulb moment about work, his stress levels, my illness, the sheer volume of work needed on the house, how much we actually need to live on now that maintenance to his XW has finally stopped and the impact of everything. Major changes afoot but for now he is helping, and making sure that everyone else is too which is such a relief.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -
Hello everyone,
We had a lovely day out. Really enjoyed it, especially as it wasn't planned.
Bought a few plants, and put them in the garden when we got home, and had a general tidy round.
Sun has been out all day. I'm now behind with ironing and stuff, but you know, we'll manage. Sometimes it's important to just go with the flow.
Welcome back Hex - glad you had a good time and changes are afoot.
Boddy - hugs and prayers for you and yours.Yesterday is history

Maxonian - I saw you were at TP show, v envious, we drove past the signs for it last night. I haven't been there for a good 20 years. I would love to go, Serena and I have talked about Gardeners World Live Flymeet but haven't found a good year datewise.
I came back to the first beans and a courgette which was nice.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -

Really enjoyed it Hex. We are only 25 minutes from Tatton, and 20 minutes from Manchester Airport, so you were in my neck of the woods yesterday. I didn't go last year, as it is so expensive, and it can get a bit samey (is that a word?) too.
Right, I am off to do a HHI. Anyone want to join me?Yesterday is history

Just done a HHI - well not quite a HH - if it has been washed it has been ironed (bar the towels)
am a bit perturbed
NDN'd brother (and son of the person in whose honour the party is being thrown) asked me if I would be coming round later. However NDN has been round to borrow cutlery - and never mentioned me going round...
so I don't know whether to go round...other neighbours are there...Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
