extremely annoyed at OH, ive gone to build the bedside table for our room and need the drill to do it, (sorry Gilly, would let you borrow it but ......) go get the drill and he has not replaced ANY of the screw driver attachements, ok not a big deal they are loose in the kitchen drawer, but the most important bit to actually fit the screwdriver attachments is missing. i saw it weeks ago and didnt know what it was for and cant for the life of me remember where i put it. i did use it as i needed a screwdriver but havent a clue where it is.

when ive calmed down we are going to be having words via email about putting stuff away in the correct place as ive got a pile of dvds with no cases and a pile of dvds without cases from where he just shoves them into the nearest case and its starting to get on my wick.

i now have a bedside table spread all over the landing with screws and everything that cant be done cause i dont have the strenght to tighten the screws by hand :mad:

Gilly... go buy a drill it will probably be cheaper than paying someone to do door chains!

2 girls bathed.. squeak is in next .. her mouth is sore (tooth number 6 on the way) so she is grumpy so I'll have her washed then drugged and she can help OH post some parcels then go to bed...

I suppose I should go nag some girls to hurry up and get dressed so they can be deflea'd..

the cds and dvds sounds like my kids!

i cannot count the number of dvds they have ruined by not putting them back! trying to teach them to give me the box instead of trying to shove the dvd UNDER the sky box!?

oh no im not paying anyone to do it! i have several handy friends but none of them are free just now.

i will however give them coffee or tea!

Morning all, it's a go go here this morning. So far back hall, front hall and livingroom have been cleared (just need to dust and hoover) bedding in the wash and line is full to dropping.

Gonna send hubby and DS1 to bring the bins up and i'll go see if the washing on the line is dry yet. DS2 can wipe down the chairs and sofa, DD can go gather any more washing...:D

Morning lovely ladies!!!

Well the school holidays have started and with them comes my master plan to take over the world....I mean tidy and organise MY WORLD. So starting on my list when I finish my coffee......
first jobs are to
get washed and dressed,
wash up from breakfast,
load wm x1
go to the post office,
drive over to see a friend and arrange our holiday with them,
drive to Slimbridge for a stroll with OH
and them write a new list...also gonna try to de clutter at least one item each day for the whole of the holiday!!!!

ive finally eaten 2 frogs!!

i called up and cancelled my experian report and which memberships! i need to do equifax too but they are shut till monday so thats a frog for monday morning!

Im a newbie on this thread today, rather late in the week I know! LOL :rotfl:Will do at least all this weeks Level ones, and some extras of my own to catch up....and then will join the next weeks thread too

Can i just say thank you to those who keep this thread going, pigpen and tootifruities esp, must put a lot of work and thought into this!!!

I did look at the Flylady thread a few months ago and it got me spurred on to get a hotspot room sorted out which i was meaning to do for aaaaaages but neglected to join the thread and so house is now really getting me down. I know its no excuse and so many others are int he same boat, but both me and OH work full time, and OH sometimes works extra on an evening and weekend trying to get his business up and running, and just feels like there is no time do any "extra" cleaning, other than the bare minimum. Usually do most of my clenaing and decluttering on a weekend, which is a pain, after working all week, you want the weekend to be your own to do with what you like. So really hoping that joing this thread will help get our house, and life back in order

Really not quite sure how to post on here, do you post the full pigpen week you are planning on doing at the beginning of the week, or do you just post your pigpen list daily??!!

Also, there are quite a few abbrvs (!) which I spent time this morning looking through, I have actually spent over an hour looking at Flylady threads!!! That time could have been used to clean and tidy I know, but I think i needed to get the foundations so I get on with my todays cleaning :T Thats my excuse anyway!!

What are mondalies/todailes?!

So, ill post how i think now, but if someone would be kind to tell me if im doing it right, and if not, how I should be doing it....:)

Sort through the coats and bags and shoes.. who needs what for winter and back to school? What can you fling?

Declutter the floor and vacuum it!

Declutter all the floors!
Empty all the bins

Frantic Friday ~ a bit of it all!!

Empty and thoroughly clean out one cupboard!
Clear ALL the hotspots in one room!!
Make half an hour for yourself!!!

Sort out laundry (and sort out the clean washing pile which has found its way to the spare bedroom!)

Doing all of this today if I can through it, and then for tea to our friends for a HM Curry...mmmm

(Shall look at FROGS next week, not sure about them yet!!!)

natc, usually pigpen posts a list daily on an evening, so mondays list is put up sunday night and so on through the week, it depends how it works best for you as to what you do. i carry the list forward during the week, so if mondays list doesnt get done i bring it forward to tuesday etc, but that works for me, some ladies if they dont do it on the day then tough, and others work a week behind and take a full weeks list from a previous thread and work their way through that. its whatever works best for yourself and your family as to how you want to do it.

eta dailiies are things like wiping down the kitchen sides, giving the loo a quick once over, anything that you need to do on a daily baisis.

Bins up, recycling out, washing brought in and washing put out. Worktops cleared and wiped, sofa and chairs done.

Next will be hubby empting the kitchen bin. DS1 can gather all toys on bedroom floor, DS2 can lift any rubbish from bedroom floor, DD can water the livingroom plant.

I'll clean and put away picnic bag
put clean washing away
brush kitchen floor and back hall
then mop said floors
empty DW and clean seals and filter
wash kitchen bin
remove fly catchers
