I had two mails straight away confirming I'd taken up the movies offer. It also showed up on my online account. I had a letter saying the price would go up but when I phoned he said ignore it as the letter's get automatically sent.
As for people worried about the price of phone calls you get them free with Sky talk and of course free with saynoto0870 so don't worry about phone cost.
I would suggest people check their accounts each month just to be safe not just accept the payments. Especially if your having any discount.0 -

It is a pretty good offer, but I'm put off by the hassle there seems to be regarding accounting and claiming back. I'd rather have it for free and then cancel if I don't like it.That still sounds like a good offer, you'll end up with 2 months free and one at half price. I know it's not as good as some of the amazing offers people report on mse, but still seems a good deal.0 -
I have received a letter this morning from SKY stating that my bill will increase next month. I have emailed them & they said nothing is showing on my account to state 2 months are free & I need to forward any supporting documentation. I printed everything fortunately so will e mail.
Has anyone else received anything?
I have just received an email apologising & crediting my account £32.00.0 -
I called Sky last night and they confirmed to me that any changes to any packet which has a discount on will be nullified and prices will go up with the change.
I will stay away!0 -

Definately wouldn't have taken up this offer. I have done these in the past and ended up being charged in spite of cancelling long before the offer was up, at the time I didn't have money in my direct debit for it as well and so I had bank fees to chase up too.0

I rang at the weekend and told them to cancel the lot (havent threatened to cancel for a few years, lol), so she said why, I said cost, so lovely scottish lady said how about 6mnths for half price, ok I'll stay
cancelled my HD(had that free for 6mnths) and movies though, and I dont even get a bill next month, cos somehow Ive ended up in credit??.. Cant knock them, they've been good to use this year! 0
