They asked me to prove I applied for the offer and I can't!0

Someone on here might have a screen grab they can [cough] lend you [/cough]0

I don't know what that means exactly but I need to prove I applied via an "appropriate" link. Am so angry as i never would have signed up to Sports channels (am a single mum with two kids and no interest in sports!) but I would have kept Sky movies if kids proved they watched a couple of movies a week as cheaper than renting.0

Im pretty sure you're entitled to cancel everything within so many days anyway, cant you just tell them to take it all off and put you back on what you were on originally? Surely they need to prove you didnt go through an appropriate link, rather than you prove it? They should know? How do you even get an unappropriate link? It either lets you through or it doesntI don't know what that means exactly but I need to prove I applied via an "appropriate" link. If it were me Id tell them to stick it all, and say all you wanted was free movies for 2months, if not they can lose your custom totally for all their hassel, they'll want to keep you Im sure.0 -

I would cancel immediately, tell them it was a mistake.0 -
I also had the letter through but it's just left me where i was before, weird.
Mine is the same actually when have looked at it in more detail with my online account open (thought was more as am currently getting the free sky sports til september) Am so confused now, but my next bill gets done tomorrow so will see what it says! Its saying £41 something for all the channels so am assuming its deducted the movies! Maybe there are only certain people really "eligible" and they know who these are and charging full for those who aren't?? Just a thought (sorry if doesn't make sense lol, its very early!!)0 -
I got a letter but also the £10 credit to my account and when i rang and queried it all, i;ve just got a better deal from them.
I've managed to get movies for 6 months and i'm paying less than i was with just sports, so it is worth ringing and if the adviser is no good ring back, the guy i spoke to said we don't get charged for calls to sky.0 -
Free calls to sky? What number was that please?travelover0
