Hi Matthew,
I discussed it over and over with Am Ex, and i think they are actually right with this, so I never pursued the case. There is this debate about corporate cards and you not being a consumer etc... Look on the consumer action group website also.
Hope this helps

As the statute of limitations i 6 years old, does this mean that credit card companies only keep records for this long? Hubby still paying off an old debt with these crooks from about 9 years ago. I want to know if he sends them a CCA, would they still have this information to hand and if not can he then argue it is not enforceable? Any advise?0

I have just sent Amex a CCA request for details of hubbys corporate card. Even though it is over 6 years, they are still chasing for the money and threatening through solicitors, so if they can pursue they must still hold details. Be interesting to see what they come back with. They have oibtained a charge on the house and are pushing big time.0

How far back can you go with this PPI stuff? I had a credit card with them back in the 80s and was made redundant. When I tried to activate my PPI they told me to get lost basically. Apparently I'm supposed to notify them 30days before being made redundant. How the hell could you predict that your going to be made redundant. Disgraceful in my eyes. Do I have a case?0
