EE - I can advise Mooloo as it really is quite easy, I printed the forms off the direct.gov.uk website (they are quite lengthy but they do have instructions) I had to get a proof of benefits letter and could only send an original copy and send that with the papers regarding fees to state that I was on benefits so I didnt have to pay either. I didnt exactly show the papers to my friend, I just asked her about them because they were sent back to me because I had forgotten various things e.g the date I left and his address and my address because the form was worded in such a way that I didnt think these bits were relevant to me. When I handed my affadavit in at the court after I had received some papers from him (the court send out the things that you need), I swore my oath and asked why the forms have to be so flowery and why can't they be in plain english? It seems that new forms will be written in plain english so you don't feel the need to have legal training to complete them.

I have already spoken to my phone provider and told them that I will not be continuing with the contract.

This house has been a right pain in the posterior for sure - it has caused a whole load of stress for mum and for me. Mum said yesterday that she was a little sad that I did not arrange a viewing at another house she had seen but I did say that when I went to the agent on the photograph in his window it clearly showed the sign from the agent that was/is advertising our current one:(

I must say that I am scared stiff - I am having to sell stuff because I need to pay for my car service, MOT, tax and insurance which are all falling due over the next three months. I am also a tad scared of the house move and how I am going to pay for removals etc. I know that by being the frugalist that I can be then I can afford the bills. I need the courts to award me some money because I feel as though I am virtually destitute:(

I came home from mum's with more freezer clearance food, things she bought because she fancied them and then realised that they were a bit too fancy for dad as he is a meat and two veg man. She also gave me some homemade cake and a couple of slices of cold meat. Plus an additional £30 for petrol. I don't see why I should have to rely on my parents to keep me afloat and my head above water. I think it is about time my ex stuck his hand in his pocket - he is working after all and he does receive an income from property.

Mum and I were going to go out yesterday but didnt due to the weather - heavy rain, hail and thunder. Dad came down to watch tv before dinner and looked very frail. During dinner he decided that he felt really unwell and afterwards went and sat in his chair, he had his head in his hands and had curled himself up in the chair. We had to keep an eye on him, eventually he felt a bit better and was watching tv, later mum asked how he was feeling and if she should take him to the local hospital and she got her head bitten off. I took him a cup of tea and he proclaimed that he was feeling better - he looked a little less grey than before and when I left I told him to stay in hiis chair.

Tomorrow I am off to have some stuff valued to go into an auction, I told mum that I would submit her stuff as being her's and give her name and address so that she would get the money (she needs to give some to her sister as it came from her house) and the remainder of the stuff will be listed as mine.

I have an appointment with Remploy on Thursday morning at 11am - hopefully they will be able to help me find some employment. I have felt lately that the fact that I have a disability (also age) is holding me back from finding work so I thought I would approach them directly. I am supposed to be referred by my DEA but as I refuse to see her then I cannot get referred that way so I am trying to do it myself. I am trying all avenues to find work.

Grrr...just when you think that you are having a good day someone goes and spoils it. I have just received an email from the horrible bully whom I have been paying £1 each month either by cheque or by postal order. He has announced that unless I pay the full amount that I owe him by the end of April he will take me to court. I have pointed out that I have never had an acknowledgement from him about the amount that I now owe despite sending a cheque or postal order every month. I have also told him that my situation remains the same and that I am still unemployed. The courts will see that I have been paying him £1 a month for several months now and are unlikely to award him the full amount because I am paying already.

I do not like dealing with this man because he is just so vile. How else do I deal with him? Thankfully he can no longer ring me to harrass me because I haven't switched my work mobile on for months and the battery is as dead as a dodo. Maybe when I get the cheque from the auction folks that I should really pay him more but I do not want him to think that I have more money than I have actually got as he will expect the full amount and will harangue me for more money more than I am able to pay.

Idiot man has just emailed to say that I am not making much effort to pay him and that the court will decide what I can pay. He really is quite vile and I do wish that I had never used his services especially as I have since discovered that he didnt design my logo himself but used a standard logo from somewhere else (there is a business near me that has the exact same logo that they got off a graphic design website).

Well if the silly man does decide he should go to court, you can show the court, the payment you made for him to design something for your business, was never designed! And yet you are being good and paying him the money owed instalment by instalment.

Beanie I shall let you know about Remploy - they have a good reputation around here, they helped one of my chums get a job with John Lewis so I am hoping they will do the same for me.

Aesop - let the vile bully try and do his worst - he will be the one ending up looking stupid not me. When I am in a position to pay him I shall arrange a delivery of the remainder in 1p pieces.:rotfl:

Surely if he didn't actually design what was contracted, then he is in breach of contract and you don't owe him a penny. Can you PROVE that he just sent you a standard logo?
I want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?

That is the thing Chev - I need to speak to the guys up the road who have the exact same design as me as their logo and see if they will put something in writing as to where they got it.

I have had another vile email from the man (I have a good mind to block his emails altogether so they divert directly to my junkmail box). This time saying that if I wanted the debt gone then I would have made more effort to pay more than £1 a month. He has now promised to take me to court and let them take the money from my benefits, He doesnt seem to grasp that he is getting money from my benefits as agreed via CCCS although I am handling my DMP myself. At least I have never run from the debt and acknowledged it immediately. Mind you I can prove to the court what I am in receipt of (this will be greatly reduced as I won't have the housing benefit to fall back on). I doubt that he will be awarded more than £1 a month. He is now screaming about interest and saying that it will take me more than 30 years to pay it off at £1 a month. Considering I am trying to get a job then it will take me less time than that to pay it off.

I have spent most of the day at my parents after taking some stuff to be valued for my mum - it is now going into a sale in June/July. Dad is looking a lot better - certainly less grey than he did on Sunday. Both mum and I seem to be playing a waiting game because we know that he is going to die soon...sniff. Mum and I went to Aldi as she needed some bits n bobs including cat food (she doesnt have a cat but she has one that visits), she bought me a loaf of bread (she refused to take money off me for it). She also bought two clematis plants for 79p each:j We then went to the garden centre as mum had vouchers for 2 alpine plants for £1 each and their normal price is £3.49 - as the offer was per person, I had a voucher and mum had one so we paid separately - instead of being charged £1 we were only charged 99p:D

Urgh to the horrid weather this morning - strong winds and heavy rain but I have been out as far as the postbox to send my £ instalment.

Last night I was challenged as the committee meeting was long with more committee members (instead of being 3 stalwarts) all talking at once. I had to keep sharpening my pencils, note down everything that was said except in places where several people were talking at once and then it becomes a lengthy discussion. I can now see a positive future for the Club which bodes well for everyone.

I have a busy day of typing, applying for jobs and printing off my CV ready for tomorrow. I will nip to the court as well as I have some questions that they can answer for me. I have a horrid feeling that I have boobed - I didnt tick the box for the financial order but did tick the box for a lump sum (I simply didnt see the first box - the forms are not helped by not being in large print).

I have just realised that I have all the gubbins in the house to make a bread & butter pudding. I think that I will make one to have with my dinner tonight - I have a Delia One is Fun book which contains the recipe. I may fiddle with it and add some strawberry jam or maybe not - it depends on how the mood takes me.

It is definately a comfort food day and a traditional pud will fit the bill.
