On the petrol week go to the Dome roundabout as the petrol there is much cheaper than at LC where they charge 'off motorway' prices. Check out the specials on hukd or the sains website fitrst and buy those or do what I do - buy an iron or similar costing 40 quid to take you over £60 and return it a week later.

I always shop in Tesco. Sainsbury's have just sent vouchers that Tesco no longer accept. :(

12p off fuel with a £60 shop and then the next week £12 off a £60 spend.

Sainsburys is 7 miles away - is it worth making the journey?

Your assuming that the tank will be empty, I don't get through a tank in 2 weeks, so that may not be so.

In any case, going to sainsbury's probably means a coffee in the adjoining M&S, so that is the £2 spent.
    I think....

Edit: LiR, I have always said that you shouldn't post anything on Money Saving Expert you wouldn't want other people to know in real life. I know people who have been tracked down on here in the past. It is a popular enough forum that there is a chance that someone you know in real life might read what you post.

yeah. I know people I know do. Tbh, with most people it doesn't bother me. But perhaps I need to take a little step back.

Otoh I also sort of feel, apart from dh's stuff which perhaps i should be more cautious about, I post sincerely and stand by what I post and am glad to be challenged and educated when I am wrong...

Have to say, opinions, whether supportive or challenging, from NPs are often useful, give great perspective or support.

I've been feeling decidely not right today..and worse as the day as gone on. Not sure what is going on but it worries me that I started to feel like this just before my hospital admission before Christmas. Really hoping I am not having another flare of the infection and inflammation, I'm still waiting on the appointments for the CT scan and procedure!

Oh well, will see how I am tomorrow before going into too much of a panic.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

Oi! Don't knock not being useful. For a start if celebrities joined the other workforce, especially all the b to z listers, then there would be a lot more unemployment, than we'd also have to look at which jobs in the normal job market were also doing nothing useful. It would be carnage.

I wouldn't mind a live in gok wan, to kick me, push me and to go shopping for me.But most usefully to shout the very banal "you go girl" type exclamations everytime I did something. Over time that must be a confidence boost.

In the real world that's probably the only job that gok wan could do. I'm just jealous that people get huge amounts of cash for basically doing nothing, which is a lifestyle that would suit me greatly.

I was so depressed at work today, first time I've been in since 21st dec. I can take a 6 month unpaid sabbatical now ive been there 4 years. Sorely tempted! Not that there is anything I would do with the time off except not work.

Well, I'm quite sure anybody who knew me would recognise me from my somewhat atypical family history, so I'm careful not to post anything that I'm not prepared to stand by. On the other hand, any kids I teach who try googling me won't find me here, and I try not to make myself too easy to find for any nutters who might meet me on here and decide to track me down.

Oh dear. Hope it fizzles out and everything goes back to normal quickly.

Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.
