the trials here are going quite well I think (only on a main road and 12:30- five am) but I'm really hoping it gets extended.....
just heard on the weather we are finally going to get cold again......snow even in the south west possible. well...I like snow, the cold will be good for the garden and it can't last all that long now surely! However, I'm not looking forward to being cold. We've been very lucky up until now being not so cold, so it seems about fair that the weather should have a blast of chill.

    dislike. twice.

Not fair. I pay my council tax too!

They are working their way round as each street light has to have a new gizmo fitted to it.

I take it you live in Borehamwood?

Just getting gloomy looking here now....

Eldest is regretting dancing last night, he has no hangover (the list of drink he had last night is frightening) but can barely walk because he was dancing...a lot and had his knees out several times during the night.

Somehow I am having difficulty seeing him 1) being drunk and 2) dancing!

    He never dances....ever.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

Do you know Georges Wood Road, Brookmans Park? .
I have a doppelgänger in Brookmans Park.

I have never met him but sometimes desperate people send me his Emails.

DD found the hamster this morning sleeping inside the wheel, on top of her hoard (which nearly filled the entire wheel), like a dragon on its treasure. :rotfl:

We have emptied it all out into a box, and DD is sorting through it, separating the hamster food from the spaghetti, crisps and other junk.

Definitely cruelty to hamsters - I'm sure the spaghetti etc. must be good for them - hamsters know..

    Funniest posting of the season.

I'd strongly advise that first meetings should always be in a neutral venue. A pub or a restaurant etc. Whilst I'm not sure any "real nutters" would actually turn up to a mass meet you can never be sure. Nutters are unpredictable.

Back in 07/08 everyone on this part of the forum was collectively known as "The nutters"

When "The nutters" had been proved right the collective description became "doom & gloom".

Perhaps the NP's have managed to change all that?

Zag. Did you catch any of Jools last night? It was excellent :T

As always! A big fan of the wee man!
Had a great Hogmanay as well, with my parents, sibs and their kids.
And a happy New Year/ Happy Ne'erday to all the NPs:beer:
