    OMG it's morning.

    Happy New Year!

I've got a load of people coming here in a few hours and the house needs tidying cleaning and more food cooking!

What I love about this thread is that I can post the above. Had I put it on FB the people that hadn't been invited would see that there were a load of people that had been invited and some would have taken offence.

    The etiquette of the Internet.

Good Luck! A New Years Day party sounds like a lovely idea.

michaels's body had suffered multiple stab wounds of varying intensity and it appeared that almost every nice person, whether they had been to private school, taken part in hunting with hounds, advocated benefits for the middle classes or even just liked to eat mushrooms had a motive. However in the end the mustachiod (Belgian) detective (and michaels had even claimed their were no famous Belgians) decided that the murderer must have been some random stranger who had snuck in to the party unseen and then left again before the body was discovered.

Must be carolt. But why?

That's strange. They haven't been turned off here. I wonder if they started with your neck of the wood.

    Nor where I am.

Finally went to bed at gone 3, youngest actually slept through the night! Bonus!

James arrived home safely from his New Year drinkipoos at the local nightclub, got in around 4.30am...haven't quite got used to this new chapter in his life but have to remind myself what I was doing at his age.

The noise at midnight around here (well my parents) was amazing, all the boats horns going off, fireworks, people out in the streets despite the rain starting to come down at 2 minutes past midnight...dad was even given a bottle of brandy by one of the neighbours.

Mum had said they wanted a quiet new year, that lasted until after the film ended and mum put the CD's on and wanted everyone to get up and dance..I even had to ask to turn it down (it was distorted was my excuse). My brother got up and did his grandad dancing (well he is a grandad now), my sister in law turned a blind eye when he took his top off.

Fabulous night...but still rankled by the price of the taxi but rather pay that than lose my license.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

My night went exactly to plan and I enjoyed every part of it more than I expected. Lets hope it's a start to a good year

Not fair. I pay my council tax too!

They are working their way round as each street light has to have a new gizmo fitted to it.

just heard on the weather we are finally going to get cold again......snow even in the south west possible. well...I like snow, the cold will be good for the garden and it can't last all that long now surely! However, I'm not looking forward to being cold. We've been very lucky up until now being not so cold, so it seems about fair that the weather should have a blast of chill.

michaels dared to suggest buying a house out to do up and make a profit.

carolt had steam coming out of her ears.
