Most of my friends & family would probably suggest I'm far tighter than that...
It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.

I did too, though don't tell b-i-l. What's it they say, "who needs van Persie as one of your 11 when you've got Steven Fletcher as one of your 10", or something like that. Did I see your goalie got MotM too? Seriously, really pleased for your lot. I do like a good underdog tale.

That makes you exactly twice as tight as chewy and me.

32% tight. Like PN some questions don't apply. I have my tea so weak I always share a teabag with OH. I've also never been in a charity shop, let alone haggled in one.

    Radio:

Capital in the mornings, though Johnny Vaughan@s departure may change that.

LBC most of the other time.

Kids leave the car tuned to XFM, I switch it to Heart or Magic.

    Simple.
    Can you afford to go?
    Do you want to go?

Answer Y to both and go. Answer N to one or both and don't go

I went to the Kiss FM launch party in 1990 (as I mentioned a few posts back) but I went to the funeral this year of one of the three friends I went with. The other two live on other contiinents. Spending money to see people you don't normally see is a high priority spend.

I'll "lose" money taking my family to see my parents 400 miles away in a few days time but they're not getting any younger and I'd never skip it.

A mate once said "economy should be your servant, not your god"

So I'd say go, but it's not my money I'd be spending.:D

    Yes
    Ish

Guess I will go. I do dislike expensive things just after Christmas though. At least I'm using the free £10 rail voucher Martin got for us.
