Thankfully the other neighbours don't like her very much as she is pretty snooty, so they let me know what she has been saying whilst at the same time, trying to get through to her that I am not misclaiming because I am not claiming at all...she doesn't believe them!

Maybe you could slip a question into a conversation with her 'what do you think the remedy is for slander, just out of interest' :)

I am unfamiliar with refills.... so scared I'd do it wrong/make a mess and it'd end in tears

I don't think you do the dirty work yourself.

In the old days, you used to DIY. It was very messy. These days, I think the shop does it while you wait normally, or you send it by post to someone like the above company.

Won't your local supermarket have both expensive carts and cheap printers?

But Silvercar is right, there is probably a local shop that 'recycles' cartridges, you give them your empties and they give you ones they have refilled so you don't have to go near the messy stuff yourself.
The local supermarket (16 mile round trip) struggles to have bread in stock. In the other direction (20 mile round trip), I'm not familiar with what they have to be honest. There's a Sainsburys and a small Tesco that are a 20 mile round trip.

It's a long way to go to get a "nil points" result :)

I nodded off, just woke up all groggy; in fact, as it's dark, I assumed it was about 5am tomorrow morning :)

That's what the emotional roller-coaster of the old's issues does to me.

The other possibility with the homework is simply not to do it. You seem to have a lot of other things to worry about.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

Well, there is that, but then I'd blow my chances of getting some high mark that really doesn't matter in any scheme of things ..... To be honest, do I care though .... probably not.

You're right.... I could just not do it.

Printer ink is unaffordable - always has been. And round these parts it's unattainable too.

Right, i'm off to open a printer cartridge recyling shop in north Cornwall - there is no competiton so I reckon I would clean up.

Rather than recycled, you could just buy a compatible.

Two of my friends have solar panels being fitted this week. One has gone to the extreme of buying a charging point for their electric car. This means a quicker charge, so they reckon it will be better to charge up quickly in daylight than slowly overnight.
