    It's on local news. It'll be closed most of the night both ways.

    No actual deaths confirmed yet, but 11 seriously injured.

    Police from Devon/Cornwall also helping.

    It's one of the junctions for Bridgwater. Also a bridge in Bridgwater has collapsed due to the power of water in a storm - could have a sewer collapse, and a house could go with it if that happened. And it's the night of the big Bridgwater Carnival.

    So the whole area's clogged from every direction for many reasons.

    No idea.... I found it when I was gobsmacked to discover that Avon & Somerset Police had one! That's where I saw the #M5 and clicked on it to find that.

    I don't really Twit to be honest.... so never delved into what's on there and how it's used.

    That appears to be the search results for #M5... so maybe you just add a # to anything you like and can then find/display those search results.... but that doesn't explain why people would even think to type #M5 in the first instance.

    Now.... where's my lump of stone and chisel...?

    farm watch and horsewatch...our rural equivalent of neighbourhood watch and a key part of rural policing is run via poking faces...so no, I'm not surprised a mototrway is a twit.

    I could never understand why Bridgwater doesn't have an 'e' - anyone know?

    The other wierd thing about that stretch of motorway is that every junction is for the A38.

    Also whilst strait is no doubt a word the only derivation for 'home straight' I could find was that it came from the US home stretch - no mention of navigable passages...

    I wish I understood how to use radios (and had one), they're covering news on Five Live/BBC News apparently. But I've no radio... nor any clue how I'd find that station. I never could work out radio stations :)

    Try the bbc website (assuming you have speakers or a headphone)
