    1) I like that wallpaper.

    2) I am now wondering if I could make it myself.

Has anyone noticed that just simple, low grade wood costs a fortune these days? You end up having to pay a fortune just to carry out a simple bodge.

    No, it isn't.

Strait, as in narrow, navigable channel of water that connects two larger navigable bodies of water.

(edit: for clarity, it is a nautical metaphor, many ports are protected from the gales of the ocean by a narrow channel, the home strait. ).
That wasn't the typo I spotted.

Edit: I went off to find the post etc:

Besides, that would have made a worse joke:D

@ LIR: sorry, I posted that to the wrong thread. I was referring to http://news.archiexpo.com/press/fromental/hand-painted-silk-motif-wallpaper-fromental-68800-161520.html and being a little bit sarcastic about making it myself :D

    He doesn’t want slaying

The help they thought they could do without,
    They’re in an awful mess,
    And I don't mean maybe
    Please! ...........

”And we can raise a eurozone family”,

    Sayin we’re too young,
We want to live it up,
What they need right now is some good advice,
    Please!..............

There's a huge and serious accident on the M5, J23-26. Up to 25 vehicles and they're on fire. Deaths expected.

I mentioned it as it's in Dave's neck of the woods.
