Well done Pobby, glad you are feeling better.
Don't worry about not feeling comfortable with the legal stuff, that is what solicitors are for and they are very comfortable with it. Hey nice peeps :hello:

My last cars have been Grey, Silver, Blue, Black and now White.
There are more new White cars in my area than any other colour.0 -
I just noticed that they had changed the succession rules for future monarchs giving female and male decendents (after the current crop) equal precedence. It got me thinking about who would succeed Lizzie if Charles were to pop it before his mum? Many seem to think it would be William but I thought it would be Andrew or Edward (if divorce is an issue) being the eldest surviving son. Anyone confirm how it works?
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-15492607
William. Succession to hereditary titles goes to the oldest son (or under the new arrangements, oldest child), and then to their oldest son/child, and theirs, and so on. Only if the oldest one dies childless do you move on to a younger one. Otherwise the order of succession would be changed by the order in which people die, and that's not how it's supposed to work.Lovely to be back. As many of you know I have been very ill but sort of coming out of the other side. forgive me nor not staying touch. Had a bout of paranoia during that time.
Pobby, it's wonderful to have you back. I'm so glad you are feeling better enough to start posting on here again under your "own" name. And I agree with everyone else about the meds - meds are what you take if you need to because you are ill, and it doesn't matter what kind of illness.
Pobby's return makes me feel I should tell the NP that there is something not entirely right with me. I think, but I am not sure, that it is not depression. I suspect it is burnout.

Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -
You poor dear thing Lydia. Really, one of the things that jumped out was you saying you haven't made progress with the house, dear one you have. You have gone from being a tenant to being in your own home....ok, it needs stuff done still, but its safe and warm and habitable. Just don't worry about it being done, enjoy it as it is. Give the wall a kiss when the kids aren't looking ..that house is sheltering you all;)
ALso, its the time of year when feel we should be hibernating....low light levels, lower energy levels, but I'm guessing stuff happening at work and having to keep enthusiasm up (half term this week just gone, yes?) and all when you are feelign tired and ''run out''.
CUT YOURSELF SOME SLACK. the kids will be FINE.
1. get some fresh air but in a paced way. A walk in the woods...or further afield...I'm hankering after a trip to Westonbirt this weekend, don't know whether we'll get there, but just right time for a colourful stroll.
2. Lists. Lists save my life and sanity. If you are really run down stick things like brushing your teeth on the list, so that you have something to cross off at the start of the day ...seriously it helps. And make sure, at first, that no more than 20 things go on it ...and that includes teeth...so...teethfeed the kids three times, (and yourself) and wipe the kitchen surfaces....that is at least a quarter of your list.
3. Your kids are big enough to help about the place a little. Do they have regular chores? If not it might be the time to either ask for some help....nothing major, they are not slaves, but they are fiot, healthy and energentic...harness it and get them into good habits....but one could be incharge of vacuuming up stairs the other incharge of down stairs, for example...and help setting table clearing away etc should be a given.
4.Have a go slow week where even if you feel vigourous you keep up with the basics and don't expect to make new ground anywhere. With any spare energy do dsomething you enjoy, not unpacking or painting or whatever it is. What would you LIKE to do?
Is there any chance of doing it while kids are at a play date or is there a time you aren't working and they are in school?
Nothing terrible is going to happen if you don't do whatever to do in the house. Promise. If your bathroom is clean and your kitchen is clean so no one gets ill, then anything else is fluff until you feel fighting form.0 -

You are lovely. This is why I put this on here.
Yes, it's been half term this week. Next week they go back to school on Monday but I don't go back until Thursday. As of this term, I do in theory get Wed & Fri every week when they are at school but I am not. Those get taken up with stuff, though. Sometimes I see a friend for coffee, which makes me feel I am managing to have a little bit of a social life despite evenings being difficult.
But I have spent a lot of my Wed/Fri daytimes on mundane stuff - waiting in for the fridge/freezer delivery and cleaning the old one to within an inch of its life ready to go to its new home, or dealing with the solar panel installers or whatever - and also some on visiting my parents. (Good news is Mum is home from respite care at last, and Dad's knee is doing well.)
DS helps quite a lot - he makes the packed lunches every morning which is a huge help to me. And I do make them tidy up every so often. Vacuuming isn't much of a problem - we only have to do odd bits when they've made a particular mess because we have a cleaner who comes weekly. There's scope for them to do more, though, especially DD, whose speciality is creating havoc, particularly in parts of the house I have recently tidied.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? You are lovely. This is why I put this on here. Please could you cut the quote down to what I edited it to? After I posted it I reflected on how hopelessly my anonymity has been compromised since I started giving details of late-nearly-ex and his accident, so I'd prefer to put a bit less of exactly how I feel. I've already put the bit I cut on the other site.

What a star ds is. I knew I liked him.
Right......I suggest banning mundanity apart from whats on your daily list on your two days off. I also suggest something a bit indulgent: I recommend a really good massage...just something that will be ABOUT you and not demanding of you and where you can let go and relax and have an excuse to just flop afterwards. You may do this after meeting a friend for coffee. Anything would do...facial or whatever, but a massage might really do the trick of having your relax properly, not with tired exhaustion....which is never really that relaxing.
I'm going to do my list later. If you like I'll put it up here so you can see the silly things that go on mine when I'm exhausted.0 -

three posts in a row without drawing breath...
dh is ALMOST HOME. I'm doing this as a quick post so don't have the jumpy up and down chappie to insert here.
The wierd thing is Big dog seems to know he's due home. She's singing and fussing to go in the car and pacing up and down and fretting. In about quarter of an hour I'll tell them and they'll go bananas.
Its funny how the pets have adjusted to him not coming back, they usually are a bit on their toes on Friday afternoons (I wonder what the trigger is from me...I'm simply not aware of it to stop it) but they have settled now. Blue Squeaker cat will go crazy when he gets here, he's her favourite person in the whole world, she gazes at him like he is God, its quite wonderful to watch.0 -
