You can't have a cashless society as it's so hard to pay cash with a card to a lot of people. e.g. deceased old's mates did a small job round the house so I slipped them some cash for a few pints. And last week I took the old to an amusement arcade for some Shove A Penny ... how'd that work?0

In that case I wouldn't bother- it's a pig in a poke!.

Michaels says his Dad thinks ... .For the conspiracy theorists out there my Dad thinks the voltage reduction is about avoiding blackouts with insufficient generating capacity - back to V=IR lowering the voltage will result in all those immersion heaters, night store heaters, kettles etc drawing less kilowatts.

An electrical earth is a means to electrocution via a less likely unforeseen route. You can be harmed by perfectly functioning earthed devices as these will conduct electricity through your body via the earth wire from a defective 'live' contact.
Do not try to 'ground' or 'earth' yourself in any electrical emergency. It is better to be isolated from all forms of external electrical potential / current .

Hi old buddies. I am back. Slowly recovering from a mental breakdown that I would have never survived but for a wife in a million, a brilliant doctor and, sad to say, some powerful drugs. Hope all me old mates are keeping life together in these strange and uncertain times.
Late at night but will be a regular again here, if I may.

Welcome back Pobby, it is so nice to see you again.
Don't be sad about the meds, sometimes it is needs must....without the rather heavy meds I was on after my breakdown, I doubt I would still be around today. We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.

Maybe the seller will re-list at a lower starting price.
I'm an ebay novice, but it's happened to me a couple of times so far, where something I want and watch but don't buy gets re-listed.“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.
Belief in myths allows the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought.”

Nothing wrong with drugs where they are really needed IMO. (the bad press, so far as I can see is when they are given out when not needed). In fact, IME, friends family who need drugs are far better on them than when trying to resist them.
Good to see you back.0
