Interesting fact - Po on teletubbies was played by Pui of Chris and Pui on Show Me Show Me. And allegedly despite all the evidence to the contrary, Justin (Mr Tumble) has a wife.
    I think....

My children had them too- they're the Janet and John of the 21st century. At least you don't have to sit through endless cartoon movies about silly kids card game characters.:eek:
I always remember sitting with DD in a movie called digimon or pokemon or something and realising that all the parents in the cinema were silently shrieking with boredom.:eek::eek:
Besfore that there was a bizarre series called teletubbies - words fail me!
    :(

Pokemon were a relief after having to sit through power ranger movies.

I've checked (I checked earlier in the week the last time I put a hedgehog out...stupidly without weighing it).

Anyway it has a name now ...Spinathon, and I'll sort him out tomorrow...in fact the vet is coming here anyway so I'll ask her to have a look too, save a trip.

    Cool name!

    ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

I hate dealing with people who are too thick skinned to do the right thing. I'd like to rip someone a new one but I have to keep writing diplomatic emails.

and stressed trying to rush something mega in 4 days.

    back in a while everyone.

I can relate to this bigstyle, especially regarding some of my "other place" posting recently.

Having to maintain diplomacy, & not express what you would really like to say can be very frustrating.

    a. widowed
    b. never married/ co-habited
    c. divorced

    and would you like him

    a. no kids
    b. young kids
    c. grown up kids

Not that I'm setting up a dating site, just curious.

Surely the right person is more important than doing a tick list

Completely agree SSSS555555SSSSS55555 (I lose track of where to stop, a bit like trying to spell banananananana;)).

    My criteria:

    Are they a nice person?
Would they treat me & themselves with respect?

f they fulfil those, & have a pulse, they're in with a chance...

You also don't want too many critera to rule out people.

Cheery cancer news (if that is not an oxymoron)

My Dad had test results: all the liver tumours have definitely shrunk and the bowel tumour has changed colour (good sign apparently). So he is responding well to treatment with so far only niggly side effects. So treatment will continue for a few more months (which isn't as bad as it sounds so far) then he'll be on a break with monitoring until the tumours show signs that they need further zapping, when they'll repeat a few courses of the treatment.

I would never have believed 3 months ago that the above was good news, but it is...in the scheme of things.

Know what you're trying to say.

An old friend of mine had a test for cancerous cells recently, & today I found out he got the all clear.

I'm back....a vry arly night, so not too bad. What a wird vening though. Parents, grandparents...PLEASE, however good your child making people listen to them perform on their keyboard/cello/flute...not a good move....if they are really good, by all means background play and let them be praised by people who have enjoyed it......it was like having teeth pulled!

Otherwise nice evening though but not as good as going to Brussels would have been :o

    Made me chuckle.

For parents, I do mean the following as tongue in cheek, however parents do need to get their head around the fact that other people don't like their kids as much as they do.;)

Actually, spent the weekend with some friends & their kids. Seem to have found more enjoyment & pleasure in interacting with the kids (7 months up to nearly 5) than the boring as hell parents!

    Think I found my level.:o
