My car was just not roomy enough and had bucket seats. I was never much of a car girl. It always resulted in a scrape or an injury. I went to one posh do in a short dress and my leg scraped raw from...I guess, the door of a car, from the knee to about mid calf.
edit: removed risque line about pain.0 -

My ideal garage is a large double, so a car can be parked in the middle, all the doors opened and there still to be room to walk round it in order to load it up or to vacuum it out in the dry.Round here, nearly all the houses were built in the 1910s-1930s, and the garages are too small to park a modern car in. I don't think I've ever parked my car in a garage.0 -

Back then I loved my Mini. Right now I'm significantly less in love with my Arthritis. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

Don't get me started. I reckon half the garages in the SE of England could barely hold a post-war bubble car let alone anything modern. They're just used to store paint now!
Mind you there's sour grapes going on my part as I don't have (and can't get) off-road parking.

The last car i had in my garage was a Fiat X19 about 15 years ago and it's big enough for most cars, but it's fitted out with work benches and shelves now.0

On another point.
I had a look at megaflow systems today when they were being discussed on here and i think it may be the thing for me.
My combi is nearly 14 years old and is struggling with the extra demand for water on times since i added an extra 2 bathrooms.
They say they should run all the taps at the same pressure, does that work in reality?0 -
