Evening all
A hectic end to the week, glad its friday night at last.
Ds is drawing a bus to send to his dad, I'm just grabbing 5 minutes on here while he's busy
Spends today = £3 on yet another "voluntary parental contribution" for his school  and £7 towards his lunch account.
Nothing major planned for this weekend other than the usual housework, food shopping, spending as little as is humanly possible and meeting friends tomorrow and taking their dog for a huge walk with themMortgage Total: £50,720/ £75,000

Morning, back from the most amazing bargainous tesco trip ever  I got 5 big tubs of megabloks, they are the ones that are identical to normal Lego, 550 pieces in a big tub, £30 reduced to £3 each :T :T Several xmas pressies sorted nicely there
Then ... I found in the stationary aisle some bits for my niece / nephews birthdays; a tube of watercolour pencils reduced to 25p, a pack of artists pastels reduced to 86p and a watercoulur A4 pad reduced to 56p each, I will get other bits to go with them and make them into an arty pack :T Then ... I also found in that aisle some expanding files (lockable files for sorting paperwork)reduced to £1.50 each from about £8, so got 2 more of those for home
Also picked up a couple of nice bottles of salad dressings reduced to £1 each (bbe 2013), which will go in a little hamper set for my aunt and uncle for xmas with some nice savoury biscuits etc and a bottle of wineI am sooo chuffed with my bargains today
I ended up spending £50 on my normal food shop (about normal amount), £46 on petrol (was on fumes) and £21 on bargain presents) no more spending for me today

So much for a lie-in this morning, we're both wide awake at silly o'clock and decided to get up at 7
Never mind, todays plan includes; taking dad out to get mum a birthay present, going for a walk in the forest and taking the kite with us, getting ds to write to his dad (really isn't interested in doing this) and continuing with the housework. I did get the whole flat tidy yesterday and have cleaned my room and the lounge, just need to clean the other rooms and hoover through, do the ironing and then several other pottering around kinda bitsMortgage Total: £50,720/ £75,000

Just wanted to say a huge thank you for the tip off on the megablocks. We got the last one last night, it kept my own BenBen happy all night while we looked after his grandma. Thanks, now i'll go back to lurking0

Aww, am so pleased to have helped mummy mandy
We went to mums this afternoon and ds played for ages with the one we're keeping at her house
I would have been disappointed if I'd paid anything like £30 for it, but £3 was an absolute bargain
We also went up the forest with ds kite and it was brilliant, it was very windy and he ran and ran for ages with it, good timesHe also completed his homework, but did miss his dads call again as we had no signal in the forest, but I figured we can't sit indoors every weekend waiting for his call

I agree you can't wait in for his call. BUT just be aware he might use you 'refusing contact' (how it could be seen) to beat you with over something...
On the other hand maybe it will REALLY bring home to him just how STUPID he has been.
chevI want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?

He did say he'd call between 10-10.30, we were still in at that time, but I didn't want to wait in after that. He called at about 3pm ...
He doesn't have my home number (long story ... after we split I was receiving a lot of dodgy calls on the home phone and they were found to come from his best mates mobile phone .... ) ... so since we moved down here he only gets my mobile, and then if theres any nonsense I can block him
I do feel a bit bad about it, but I had no signal in the forest and I didn't want to change our plans just for a call, and ds wasn't bothered that he didn't get to speak to him eitherMortgage Total: £50,720/ £75,000
