Evening all, had a good day out on a fieldtrip, very hot and ended up iwth a thumping head from too much sun, but mustn't complain about this gorgeous weather :)

Tonight ds went with mum to the beach with the dog while I have blitzed the flat ready for the ex in-laws visit tomorrow :o Will be glad wonce its over and done with tbh, but will be nice to have a few hours to catch up with stuff while ds is out and the place is tidy :)

Plans in general for the weekend include making the most of the weather, food shopping and getting ds homrwork sorted, thats about it I reckon :D

Hmm, I'll be glad when its tonight ... the ex inlaws are due here in an hour and a half and I'm not looking forward to it one little bit :o I know its good for ds to remain in contact with them, but for me it feels strange, I don't particularly want them back in my life, or in my home, and I am concerned that conversation with them will be very awkward (due to muppet ex situation) and I'm also concerned with what they may say to ds while they're out today

I know I'm probably worrying over nothing, just feels better writing it all down, I just will be glad once its over and done with. I know somewhere in there they will ask when they can see ds next, they can never just leave it for a week or two and see how it goes, they have to have it arranged asap :o They won't get it their way though, it will be a vague "ooh, we're busy for a while, I'll let you know" ;)

I should be planning how to enjoy the time today, but I know instead I'll just worry instead :o The flat is sparkly and tidy (purely for their benefit lol), so at least thats a plus. I may have a lazy afternoon and get the new months finances sorted, stick a few bist on ebay and go for a walk along the clifftop when its a bit cooler later :)

Just ordered a personalised christmas card for mum and dad from ds for free (see grabbit board ;)), I can never find one that says Nanna and Grandpa in shops, its always nanna and grandad or grandma and grandpa  So this is a good way of saving me the hassle of searching the shops and saves my pennies too, win win :T

It seems to have gone fine, but then they let him choose what to do today and he wanted to go on three different buses :o Can't believe in this heat they didn't take him to the beach, instead they let him dictate and spent the day on hot stuffy buses  Their problem ....

He hasn't had a call from his dad today either, so since the 5th September the only contact he has had with him has been one 5 minutes phone call.

I seem to have developed a cold / sore throat over the last 24 hours, so am heading off for an earlyish night tonight :)

Morning, another bright sunny one, loving October so far :D

I did my electric meter reading just now for the start of the month, £28 spent last month on electric, leaving the account £138 in credit with this months payment still to go out :T This should be enough to last the winter and when my fixed price deal runs out in June hopefully there will still be a surplus in there to help with the inevitable hike

This morning we're having a lazy one, getting homework done etc, then this afternoon we're off out with friends to enjoy the sunshine :)
