You have to keep things as normal and regular as possible for DS. You can't be expected to wait in for a phone call that you don't even know 100% is going to come. Eventually he should figure out that if he says 10-10.30 and he calls then, he will get to speak to DS.
I do agree with chev though, just be aware he might try to use it against you.

Evening all
Mums birthday today so we went round there after school. Had tea and cake there before we came home. Ds teacher came out with him after school tonight which sent me into a panic as usually that means its bad news ... anyway, she had photocopied some of his work to show me as he hd written a whole side of A4 paper :T This is a huge amount for him, he hates writing and struggles to focus, so I'm so proud of him, and its so nice of her to recognise it too
Today has been a nsd :T Only two more days until paydayMortgage Total: £50,720/ £75,000

Yay to ds! And well done to his teacher to come out with the positive. Sometimes we are too quick with the negative, we forget about the positives!0

Well done DS :T That was great that his teacher recognised it and made a point of telling you. That gives DS encouragement too. Sounds like yesterday was a good day for you.Mortgage at 12/07/2022 = £175,000

Woo Hoo I have made it to the end :j
Saw your diary about 3 weeks ago, read the first page which mentioned the ex (and hinted at some history) so went back to your very first diary and have read all of them  (just a little bit each day).
What a rollercoaster you have been on. Can I just say what a lovely mum you sound - always indulging DS in his hobbies!!
Can I join the club of useless ex's?
DS' biological father pays 0 maintenance at the moment . The amount he pays has varied over the years although once I did not get it reviewed for years and he had been doing loads of overtime so the payments went up so he cut his hours and then asked for a review . The worst thing is he never helps with any other costs - just has the CSA taken from wages
Now because he cannot be bothered to use contraception he has 2 children with his new girlfriend (who has 2 of her own as well ) so after the latest child was born the review has decided he has to pay £0 - even people on JSA have to pay more than that
I'm so annoyed I have not even checked to see if the calculation is right and I have not even broached the subject with ex because it just frustrates me.
And one last thing - I cannot believe your ex - how can stealing £23k be worth it? Presumably his job paid him at least double, possibly treble that???
I always think that if I had the chance to steal money I would want at least a few million so I can disappear off never to be seen again and not have to watch my back all the time - not that I would steal money of course. :rotfl:
I am not saying that the value was the worst bit of course it was the deceit etc but so not worth it for that much money.0 -
Wow, thankyou EE, can't believe you have read them all
Please stick around, who knows whats in store for the next few chapters??
