Morning all, lovely not to have the alarm clock disturbing me this morning
Last night I discovered the Mccains spud thing courtesy of reading the £10 a day september challenge on the dfw board, am currently up to £3.50 and waiting for more points to update, that could be a useful source of some vouchers :T
Todays plan involves taking ds to a birthday party (nephews) this morning then going to a friends house afterwards for the afternoon. I'd like to scoot around and find some more ebay bits as its another free listing weekend, and I also have a couple of betting offers to look into. I ought to pick up some bits in tescos too, and maybe check on the finances situation for the month so farMortgage Total: £50,720/ £75,000

Morning, yesterday didn't go well ... the party was fine for an hour or so then ds had a monster meltdown, absolutely no warning, and at least my sister saw it and exactly how quickly he exploded
He was hitting nd kicking me, pulled my hair really hard, I picked him up and carried him to the car and as we were driving home he took off his seatbelt and opened the car door   I stopped the car and had serious words with him ... I drove to mums and left him with her for a few hours while he and I both calmed down
Mum then decided to have him stay there for a sleepover, so I collected him this morning.
Not sure of the trigger, he does struggle with parties and we will now not go to anymore, I can't have this each time we go to oneBut also, just before we walked out the door for the party the phone rang and it was his father for the first time  He wanted to talk to me and said he will call ds this morning at 10 ... ds didn't seem unsettled by him ringing but it may have had an unsettling affect
Needless to say its now 11.20 and the 10 o'clock phonecall hasn't happened yet
In better news I spent 3 hours last night chatting with a guy on pof that I've been chatting with a bit recently. He seems absolutely lovely, very individual, seriously cute BUT he lives in DevonWe'll see ....
So today ... once we've had the phonecall we're going to go out for a bit of fresh air ... I spent £36 in tescos again yesterday and am rapidly running out of money for this month. I have had a quick look over the finances but want to sit and do them properly later on. I have a matched bet that I need to do later on the Man U match at 3pm.Mortgage Total: £50,720/ £75,000

Don't read too much into the phone call being late or even not happening at all - from my time working at a prison, I know that it is very often the case that there are reasons that individuals just cannot avoid. For example if there is a search to be done on a wing because someone is suspected of having drugs, or a mobile phone, then the whole wing is likely to be locked down while it happens. There's no way that one person is then going to be able to say "but I promised my son I would ring him at 10". Even just a severe shortage of staff can result in big restrictions to daily practices.
I'm not trying to make excuses for him, of course, and I know that it is very frustrating for you not being able to plan your day, and for DS who has still to adjust, but it is part of prison life.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Thankyou Hypno, I did explain to ds that he can't always ring when he wants to, so he doesn't seem too bothered that he still hasn't phoned
We've been out bus spotting for a bit (in the rain
), then we've played together indoors, I've cleaned the bathroom, ds has been checking various bus routes online and in a minute we're making choc chip cookies

Relisted a few bits and pieces on ebay this afternoon and have also listed a couple of new bits as bin's. Not expecting them to sell particularly, but we'll see
Ds phonecall with his dad doesn't appear to have unsettled him today so thats a positive :T
So its that sunday night feeling again, another new week begins tomorrow, still 10 days til payday, need to eke it out this month, I currently have £56 left but my norton subscription is due (have tried others in the past that were cheaper / free but always seemed to mess up the computer, so am sticking to what I know). That will be £35ish, so not much left over to go aroundThe food cupboards are pretty full, will see how long I can stretch it out for

Evening all, ds had a wobble this morning and it took me 45 minutes to get him into school once we'd arrived there
He seems to have had a good day though once he went in and is in a lovely mood so far tonight :T
I haven't spent any money today which is a plus, but he has brought home a letter for his school trip and they need a payment of £13.50
Tonights plan is to chill out, early nights all round ( ds was asleep by 8.30 last night so shouldn't have been tired), not much to be done housework wise, but will potter a bit and stay on top of it all.Mortgage Total: £50,720/ £75,000

Evening all
Ds has had a very good day today, which I'm very happy about :T
No money made today, and spent some at tesco express tonight (£6.60) on bread, milk, sausages etc and also paid £12 for ds school trip ...
Ds homework done without too much arguing, baths done, guinea pigs exercised, flat tidied (didn't need much, seem to be staying on top of it at the moment), and thats about it for another day
I have completed 5 surveys tonight from my inbox, so edging a bit closer to payout on a few of those too.Mortgage Total: £50,720/ £75,000
