Benben, I expect you have remembered but just in case, I think your mobile phone reclaim is due about now.

This makes me sound like a stalker,:rotfl: but I'm not, it's just we got phones about the same time and I have got to send off my claim for £60 on the 15th of this month - will help you reach your target :)

Lellybun, thankyou so much for this reminder, I checked it last night and you're right, its time to send off another claim, my bill arrived this morning so I can get it in the post (when the rain stops ;)) and that will be another £60 on its way soon :D

Yes it probably is partly for that reason KM, which just shows how weak and pathetic he is if he still chooses to put her above ds  I also think its becuase he's very controlling and wants everything done on his terms, how he wants etc, and he doesn't like that we can cope just fine without him, we don't need him, he contributes nothing financially or emotionally to us so he can just go and get locked up now for all I care ;):D

  • Ooops well if he likes control he's in for a tough case of cold turkey shortly, at her majestys pleasure!

I have decided I'm cutting contact with the ex after all, I will inform him of ds appointments but thats it, other than that it will revert to how its been for the last 12 months, I was much happier when I didn't have to deal with him and he's had a chance and already I'm feeling too stressed out because of him and I don't want to go back to that. Itried to call him to tell him but I got his voicemail and he hasn't bothered to reply yet, which is a typical mind game of his, he is surgically attached to his phone at all times and never misses calls when it suits  I already feel better though for making the decision :)[/QUOTE]

Your ex sounds similar to mine, I have had a problem with maintence (wont go into detail) but tried to ring him for over week at home, mobile, text, which he ignored all the messages I left him. Anyway today I found his old work number which I had scribbled down from before, so rang him, he answered it in his work voice :D and I said Hello its me :rotfl: he went very quiet for a few minutes and did not know what to say, he must have wondered how I got the number. So told him what I had to say and told him what I thought of him as a father. Feel much better now :D

He's finally phoned back, told him what I wanted, he said he felt the same :rotfl:as if!! So its now back to absolutely minimal contact again :j :j

I said I felt he was extremely arrogant and he said well thats your problem if you think that, anyway I'm not arrogant at all, we just have different opinions" ... Muppet :D:D

Well done, you :T:T:T That sort of worry about what his motives are can be extremely tiring and disturbing - better not to have the worry.
But how can you know what you want till you get what you want and you see if you like it?

Its amazing how much calmer and contented I feel again having told him I want to go back to no contact unless absolutely necessary :) You're so right Tricia, its exhausting trying to second guess his motives and I'm not prepared to live like that, he can get on with his sorry little life without needing to know the details about mine ;)

We popped round to see mum and dad for a cup of tea, ds played with the dog for half an hour and gave him a good brush :D Home now, tea done, baths done, soon be time for ds to go to bed, he's actually been really good with this this week and with the weather down here being shocking today and therefore quite dark already, I'm hoping tonight will be fairly straightforward too. He's at holiday club tomorrow, I am maybe meeting some friends from school for lunch but I haven't heard back; I am also meant to be sorting stuff for a car boot at the weekend, but the weather here today has been so bad that I think the field will be far too waterlogged to do it :o

Aaagghhh .... so I took ds to holiday club this morning, and he clung to me like a limpet, would not let me leave for anything :o Eventually the lady there tried to help but after 45 minutes of it I admitted defeat and have brought him home again :( I have no idea why he was like that today, he went on monday and tuesday and loved it and couldn't wait to go again today  He was warned that if he came home he would have to play by himself all day, as I have jobs to be getting on with and won't be there to amuse him all day ...

So, I am going to carry on and try to get some stuff on ebay and sort the flat out some more today. Hmm, bet it doesn't go as straightforward as that :o

  • Do you think it could be because you and his dad have had words again yesterday thats unsettled him?

Possibly KM, also this morning he asked me if daddy knew what his consequence is yet, I said no, not for another couple of weeks. He asked again what they might be and I explained, and when I said that he may have to go away for a bit he asked me where, and I said to prison, and he looked a bit scared and said "no, really mummy, where would he have to go to?" He obviously didnt want to believe me :(:( Maybe we'll have a chat again later, he doesn't like to talk about it though so I have to tread very carefully :o
