But that also shows me that I'm right not to have contact with his dad as we just can't get on amicably, and I'd rather he accepts that rather than us keep trying and failing :o

  • been a way since sunday (at a wedding) and just back, i agree with everyone else about ex...and very glad you are breaking the new type of contact with him....he does sound very manipulative.. it does sound like Dss behaviour is linked with what is going on...it must be hard for him to accept his dad may be going to prison, that is a real biggy...especially in relation to may be admitting it at school...no wonder he is clinging to you, his little world probably isn't feeling very safe, even though you know its safer without ex....feeling for you

The kitchen is done, lunch has long since been eaten, the gilet and trousers I ordered have been delivered (gilets lovely but the trousers are hideous so are going back :o), now I think we'll head down to the garage and start sorting / taking stuff to the tip / boxing stuff for the car boot sale.

Garage is done, car boot stuff is sorted and boxed ready for sunday, one load of stuff has gone to the tip (the rest I can't get in the car because its too heavy). After that we went down to the beach and watched the Red Arrows display at the air show, always worth seeing :T :T

Now its sofa time for half an hour before we start the dinner and baths routine ;) I'm really pleased with what I've got done today, tomorrow will now be spent doing ds bedroom, some food shopping and ebaying stuff :)

Just been doing some xmas shopping, courtesy of hotdeals ... body shop butters, usually £12.50 each; currently you can get 5 of them for £17.50 (inc. delivery), and then theres 24% to come from quidco too, :money::money:

With £4.30 to come back via quidco, this means that each one works out at approx £2.60 each, which is fab and means thats ds teacher / breakfast club lady etc etc sorted, just wrap them up with some pretty ribbon etc :D:D

Morning all. Ds is up, breakfasted, washed and dressed with his bag reday to go to his dads. We have an hour or so til we need to go so just playing with his trains now for a bit :)

I'm going to get a couple of bits ready for posting and take them with me when we go, then stop off and do Tescos on the way back. Once I'm home my plan is to sort ds bedroom which hopefully won't take longer than a couple of hours, then crack on with ebaying stuff. This afternoon will be spent in my favourite way of on the sofa, with one eye mooching on here and the other keeping a check on the footie scores :D

Ds has gone to his dads, I've posted off my redemption claim for my phone (thanks Lelly :T), tescos has been shopped and put away (£47 ), leggings have been collected and now I need to decide whether to keep them or return them

So, now its time for a coffee, then I may go and start ds bedroom before packing the car up ready for the car boot and then coming indoors, shutting the world outside and chilling out for the rest of the day :D
