I've just had a phonecall from a mediation service locally that the crim has contacted, asking me if I'd like to arrange an appointment with them to meet with the crim (apparently he can arrange to get out for an appointment??), to discuss ds visiting him :eek: :eek: :eek: At what point will he accept that ds won't be going there?? She also said he wants to discuss access once he gets out .... oh God, the new year is going to bring a new round of battles isn't it Why can't he just go away??? :mad: :mad: I'm fuming now, how dare he give out my mobile number to someone I've never heard of? let alone assume I want to be in the same room a him?? :mad: :mad:

Very good, I think legal advice is the way to go. I can't believe he can give your number out or get out to come for a meeting !!!!!!!

Thanks Buffy, he hadn't bothered to explain to the mediation lady the reason why he's in prison or that he implicated me in it, or that ds is currently going through camhs .... once I'd filled her in on a few bits she said she totally understood why I didn't want ds to go there and didn't really see what use they could be anyway, she said maybe once he's out they might be able to help but for now its not his decision to make and clearly I've thought it through, taken advice and acted in ds best interests :T :T

And another call from the mediators .....

He's called them again ... said he wants a meeting this week and if I don't agree he'll "take things further" .... she explained to him that (a) they don't have any appointments until the middle of January anyway, and (b) the court process would take at least 6 months so he will be out before that anyway :cool: She said he sounded very agitated and struggling to cope with not seeing ds, said she didn't know really why she was calling me again as they couldn't see us this week even if I agreed to it ... Am beyond sick of all this now :mad: :mad:

Is he.......I don't know how to put this but is he ok mentally? I mean as much as I bulk from having sympathy for him being separated from your child must be beyond hard.....I guess prison must be hard for him......................*waits for sympathy to kick in* *nope*

sorry Benben, I just think he is such a manipulative git. I can't help thinking he has a motive.

I do get that it must be hard for him not seeing ds, however, he created this situation not me ... The mediation lady wasn't aware that he has phone contact with ds, she was under the impression he has no contact at all ... I explained he phones him and can write to him but ds doesn't want to write back.

I do understand it must be hard, however, my only concern is ds and whats best for him. I will speak to the camhs lady this afternoon at ds appointment. Ds has anger issues, has behavioural issues, struggles with accepting consequences etc, and a prison really is the last place he needs to see! He said to the mediation lady that he thinks I have got the idea its a place with bars on, but actually its like a village hall with a coffee shop and is pleasant and nothing wrong with it .... maybe not in your eyes hun, but I don't want my child thinking a prison is quite a nice place to be :mad:
