Two thirds of the list completed. Kitchen cupboards wiped down, mud washed out of bedroom carpet and a whopping £125 dropped off OHs car insurance renewel along with a £50 reduction in the excess and a further £20 cashback *does the pants on your head happy dance*
Scoffed a third of a giant toblerone whilst attempting to figure out how to whip up a knitting pattern for a three dimensional knobbly raspberry tea cosy, much posh coffee consumed thanks to Santa Grannys gift of a selection of cafetiere coffees.
Still have to post letters and visit tip and charity shop but they are both jobs that will keep for another day.
More importantly have to stick a rocket up the DDs bums to get them to write thank you cards so that the one to the auntie at deaths door makes it before she passes through because its most awful to keep receiving letters to the dead, its a constant reminder that they're no longer there, not that you need reminding of that. At least it means there will be a big family bash to look forward to (in a very warped way) in the not too distant future.
ps. Achievementy is too a word.... in Polish seeming to relate specifically to Xbox gamesSaving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500 -
Glad you managed to have a positive day even despite OH behaviour. I am saddened that he couldn't behave for even one day.
And remember it is finding a way to get HIM out of your lives, not the other way around.
Good luck with the letter writing that is always a hassle in this house as well! Especially when they have money from relatives and don't know what to buy with it!
chevI want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?

My nearly 4 year old niece had her own Nintendo DS.
Ok my kids are lucky they borrow my DS and they have limited access to the iPad for games but there is no way on this earth they are having their own expensive gadgets.I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks

Re. ipods etc, this is likely to totally depress your faith in human nature in general, but may also show just how lovely your DDs are in comparison...
