Managed to wangle a few freebies to try, even managed to persuade him to fit them for me. Couldn't resist. No doubt I'll be spending today on the naughty step as the ladies all pop into the staff gents loos to see if I've actually done what I'm rumoured to have done.

What a great idea these are! Another new income stream (pardon the pun), Moo. Stickers sporting fully clad ladies that undress when big boys (sometimes known in their own heads as 'adults') score a hit. I certainly know a few big boys (I didn't mean that, you rude girl) who could do with such an incentive.

Crivens I can't imagine that going down overly well when the bishop does his annual inspection.

In more mundane news I was a tad late for work this morning when the gas tanker driver decided to park across the drive. Theres nothing for miles and yet he blocked me in. Men. At least they topped us up days before the price increase is enforced which means we avoided having to pay £20 more for no reason other than the date.

Its chuffing freezing, doubt the washing will dry but I'll bung it out anyway and then start on the drudgery although not for very long because its too nice a day not to go for a leafy stroll.

    I meant to ask...could you knit me a non-a-dalek-honest?

PM me how much you think it will cost please and I'll happily buy one (and possibly also one for my Dr Who crazed friend!)

Moo2moo - If you want to liberate more of the goggle eyes I'd like another owl please. I'm amazed that you find knitting relaxing - it winds me up like a coiled spring! :rotfl:

Knitting means I have to sit on my bum in one place. Its about the only time I do. I guess thats why I find it relaxing. Although being a stationary target does mean I end up with far more muuuums from the oiks than normal.

Marg - I'm quite happy to knit another dozen owls.... which would still leave me with a few eyes to spare. Hope you're not in any rush for it.

FF - PM duly sent. Have finally figured out how to knit cable which helps.

Arrived home at 9:30pm having successfully persuaded the PTA not to cook hotdogs in a classroom when theres a perfectly good kitchen 15 m from it. Got woken by the geriatric hound twice. Feel like shoite. Am most grateful thats its Friday.

Coughed up £28 for DD2 to do her next martial arts grading. DD1 doesn't feel ready to do it. Was pleasantly surprised by my bank balance. Wrote a ginormous cheque in the hopes of vastly reducing the debt. Posted it then realised I'd already written one for £50 to school that hasn't been cashed and will need to write others for music tuition and possibly purchase a second hand cornet if the school music service can't source one. Looks like this month will be a much closer shave than I'd anticipated. Must engage brain before writing cheques.

Postie brought lots of goodies. I'm now restocked with cinnamon sticks and vanilla pods. Walked the hounds, came home via Lidl with milk and citrus fruit. Visited a friend to drop off market stuff. Stayed to eat cake and liberate several dozen jam jars. Means I can spend the weekend reducing the volume of fruit strewn around the house. If I'm v. organised I could get marmalade started in the slow cooker before school..... the alternative being I sit on my bum for half an hour consuming extra strong coffee and hope this works miracles. Its not really much of a contest.

Moo, you may have said and I wasn't paying attention ... how much did the train in a field go for in the end? I assume you didn't buy it?

More than we offered. Beyond that I haven't a clue. Don't think anyone local bought it otherwise the grapevine would have come up with something by now.
