Glad you had a good time moo, sounds like it was definately well needed! It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Just what the doctor ordered, by the sounds of it. Good to see you back, though."Green pastures are before me,

Had a fab time but am most definately glad to be home. By day three I was ready to kill the other guests. They whinged about absolutely everything... too much food, not enough choice, restaurant too busy, staff too efficient, bla bla bla.... am most grateful I don't come into contact with the rest of the human race on a daily basis.
OH has departed with the DDs for riding lessons leaving me two hours to get back to normality. Figured breakfast and a catch up with the virtual world was the ideal way to start. Washing machine is on its third load of the day already with a huge pile still to go. The DDs seem to have worn everything they took despite DD2 attempting to wear the same t-shirt three days in a row.
Have deleted almost a thousand e-mails and waded through a huge stack of mail which was mainly bills.... bah.... £30 of Mr T vouchers which I can double up in store... had I been more organised I could have used them on days out whilst we were away but since it was a bit spur of the moment that didn't happen. Most exciting though is a beautiful hardback copy of Let's Preserve it which is wonderfully eclectic and laid out alphabetically with some rather mouthwatering stuff as well as that more suited to Baldric et. al. Turnip chutney anyone?Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500 -
and the postie has just been bringing with him a cheque for £48 from the laydees of the country market for last months sales. Whooppeeeee. Of course now sales are increasing my record keeping needs to improve quite considerably too other wise the tax man will not be overly impressed. I'll add that to the end of a very long list of things to do.Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500

Glad to see you back and posting Moo (sorry about my name change and I really wasn't copying but it seemed the most logical given that I talk about Moo all of the time).
Sounds like a good hotel if you could take the hound from hell too. I always make use of the book swap shelves and come back with lots of new authors (I figure if I am not paying it is worth taking the chance).
Me and Moo are currently home alone and deciding what mischief to get up to. I am thinking that a long overdue bath for Moo is called for, he has other plans. There are loads of damsons around here at the moment so been thinking about giving damson chutney ago Any recipes per chance? Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Bored of housework already. Its far too easy to get sidetracked in cyberspace although I haven't missed the PC at all whilst we've been away.Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500 -

Oh, meant to ask how the owl cosy is going. Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, I will try again tomorrow -- Mary Anne Radmacher0 -
The owl is in limbo awaiting eyes which still haven't turned up.
Glad the wool arrived intact DT. Hope you had fun getting it out of the packaging! Am refraining from mentioning the stroking thing... *moo sniggers childishly*
Have done even more washing but still havetons to go. DD2 is hiding in her room with a Harry poter novel in the hopes of avoiding being roped into post holiday chores. OH is snoozing on the sofa and DD1 is reaquainting herself with the telly havingbeen deprived for the last week.
I've been surveying and have claimed a whole £5 Amazon voucher from TNS. Have also been terminated by the postal survey people. I suspect they'd had enough of me posting everything at 7:30am regardless of what the instructions said. Surely no one is daft enough to visit the post box three times a day. Still it was nice while it lasted. Hopefully the vast reduction in mail will mean the PC desk is vaguely tidier. Only vaguely mind you.Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500 -

And the "etc" would be ...? Or can we fill in the gap for you?"Green pastures are before me,
