Moo, you have to take a look at this diary. I think you will love it and feel an affinity. She is fab.

Crivens people. I can barely knit as it is and am having to cope with reteaching myself on a crash course armed with a handy Hobbycraft how to leaflet whilst also teaching DD1 to knit left handed. Am already halfway through the back of the owl. Figured that was the easiest place to start. Am enjoying it v. muchly. Not the teaching DD1 part obviously, thats a nightmare. Especially when she bungs her holes on a stick under my nose and demands that I sort it out. In a little under an hour she'd managed four rows and had increased from 10 stitches to 30 or so and had changed direction mid way through a row as well as dropping stitches and gaining stitches and knitting in the loose end as well as the ball of wool..... shes really enjoying herself though.

Friend departs today. We've had a fab time. Shes been everything I needed and more. Feeling completely recharged and ready to take on the world. Even managed a trip to the cash for clothes place with a boot load over the weekend which netted £22.50 nicely covering all the Hobbycraft splurges. Feeling very positive about everything today!

Don't worry about you having to reteach yourself I can wait for my socks and as I was first to ask I estimate I should get mine around Xmas which will be perfect for my birthday :rotfl:

Glad that DD is enjoying herself, it seems that you have all really been able to let your hair down and have a fun time without having to me mindful of OH.

Hope you manage to take on the world today and keep up the positivity. :T

    Hi Moo

I have just read your diary...so sorry to hear of all the bother you have been having.:grouphug:

It certainly hasn't been easy for you for quite a while and only you know what you need to do.

Thinking about you and wishing you all the strength and energy for coping with all that life is throwing at you.

    God bless

Well, I am not sure that reteaching yourself is a good enough excuse frankly. Especially as you have announced that you are already half way through the owl back despite the distractions of DDs getting in a muddle.

It sounds to me like you friend should come on prescription - fancy sending her/him this way for a while?

As others have said you sound quite energised in these posts so whatever decisions you make I know that you will have the strength to deal with things until the next dose of the friend arrives. Good for you.

PS - cash for clothes? how did this pass me by - pray tell more. And then tell me there are none in my area (I bet).
