Decided to splurge and treat DD1 to a Pandora bracelet. That means in future each reward for doing well can be an addition to it. V. tempted to get one myself especially after discovering this :
Pretty convinced DD1s first choice of charm will be this:
Spent the last couple of days in the garden. Only a couple of metres of cable left to bury but much pruning is required first. Have run out of space in the wheelie bins and the compost heap is overflowing.
Just waiting for the shed company to give us another delivery date.
Have a few things to bung on flea bay to take advantage of their free buy it now days but its too nice to spend much time at the PC, even if I do take thes netbook into the garden. Can't believe how fab the weather is.Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500 -

We bought DD1 a Pandora for her 18th and she now gets a charm for significant events etc - did find a fab seller on Eb*y from Australia selling genuine charms ( cos only genuine will do !) for a great price. Last one I got her was a princess and the pea bed - standing family joke. Lovely gift and I wish I had one too!Be the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi

Tis most glorious out. Attempted to walk the hound but shes lifted her head from my pillow, looked at me like I'd grown a second head, drooled and the snuggled back up with the OH. Will be washing the bedding today.
Have listed one solitary buy it now on E-bay and bought some cheap fluff to use on the drop spindle that my clicky finger purchased early in the week. Its a very naughty clicky finger.
Further plans for the day should involve a lot of ironing because I've done an awful lot of washing but its too nice. Also need to buy a black school skirt for DD1 after she borrowed one of mine because its now too hot for trousers. My wardrobe is no longer safe.Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500 -
My advice is to forget the ironing, it's far too nice a day to waste ironing. Trust me on this - the ironing will not go away, it will still be there another day :rotfl:
The bracelet is a lovely idea and she'll have it forever and every special occasion can be marked with a new charm - perfect!
Hope you have a lovely day.

Mount Ironmore is about to suffer an avalanche. Need to attempt an assualt on the summit before tomorrow otherwise the DDs will be going to school looking even scruffier than normal.
Spent most of yesterday in the garden. Despite caking everyone in factor 30 and making sure we stayed in the shade we've all caught the sun, fortunately as we're outside a lot its a light brown tan rather than lobster red burns. Looks like being just as glorious today which is pants because I have to take DD1 to buy a skirt.
Finally cast off the faux lace wrap. Got bored of it. Need to wash it to get rid of the smell. Not sure whether its greasy sheep or the dye but it honks. Cast on for a dead fish hat and am contemplating starting a proper lace shawl just because I can.
Lucielle - I'll add it to the list. Hope you're not in any hurry for it.Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500 -
No hurry at all.
