Royal Mail - how about actually delivering THE MAIL ??
Comments
-
My posties always put mail through and never doorstep. However until recently they couldn't seem to read and would frequently give my mail to other houses also numbered 6 but obviously in different roads. I took part in one of those postal surveys when in one week alone I had about 5 pieces of mail for other people (incorrectly delivered) and since then it hasn't happened. Obviously if management are made aware they will sometimes take note.0

yes they do johnnyboy look at your small packets when they come through your door.
op you need to complain to royal mail as the postie shouldn't leave items on the doorstep.

and you need to opt out of the leaflets from royal mail this isn't part of the mailing preference service, they only stop direct mailings addressed to you.cracker challenge silver: £610/£1010.00 :jOne debt vs 100 days: 1000.00/0.000 -

Not in the least. Custardy posts interesting, thoughtful, reasoned posts about the RM (and other stuff) to counteract the kneejerk rantings of other posters who often seem close to mild hysteria."Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0 -
Now I feel for the OP RM is in a bit of a state I agree, but I have to honestly admit that we must have the best postie in the uk perhaps in the world lol:) in the 4 years Ive lived at our current address ive only ever had one parcel go missing and it was replaced by the supplier, He is a credit to royal mail and NO I'm not having an affair with the postman lol:) its just nice to know that when you get home amongst all the "junk mail"( which by the way ive been informed by my postie that they are not allowed to call it that anymore! and I get atleast 2-3 pieces of crap mail every day mostly from co-op ( and we dont even have one in a 100 mile radius:0) what a joke anyway even so atleast i dont have to worry about my proper post getting lost, missing stolen or damaged as we have a trustworthy and reliable royal mail employee (like the should be), hard to believe but they do exist lol! xLOVE isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live WITHOUT0

instead of crying and counting it all out opt out
I've opted out as well as being signed up to the MPS. I get little junk mail addressed to me(usually only if I have bought somnething and not read the 247 pages to enable me to opt out of it). I get less unadressed junk delivered by the postman than I used to but I still get some so I agree that the opt out is not especially effective.0 -

what system? the one between the collection and the bin?0 -

you didnt answer the question.which system will it clogg up?0 -
you didnt answer the question.which system will it clogg up?
And you yet again didn't comment on the actual point.
Royal Mail deliver !!!!! to people but it's ok because those people just need to go to the effort of putting it in the bin.
It makes perfect sense to post utter garbage through a letterbox that the postal service know will be binned. You make good points.0 -

Lets see custardy defend this one... today i got a parcel with the contents missing and NOT in any damaged bag etc...
TBH am getting so sick of this !!!!!... happens on a daily basis almost.. had so many items ermmm "not reach me" , so many items of other ppls mail delivered here..its hit or miss whether mail gets to this destination or not.. I was advised to take it to my MP as even speaking face to face with Delivery Office manager and being assured my post is being checked and monitored failed to stop todays empty package (;) ) happening..however MPs are now off til September and i dread to think what can happen to all our post since then.. Have contacted Postal Review Board as they do not seem to be taking this seriously..What Would Bill Buchanan Do?0
