How about you tell that to the bloke in the RM uniform I SEE posing it through my door.

    opt out

Or instead read the title of the post.

Surely Posties are not so thick that they can tell the difference between genuine addressed post from play.com and a envelopes delivered to every house, usually addressed to the occupier.

And opt-out of unaddressed mail doesn't always work as the Posties have to remember which houses are on the opt-out list. Relief Posties don't have a clue and post everything.

No, I watch them post it through MY door, not yours.
My front door is in my living room. A room I'm often in playing with my son, so I see anyone who approaches my door.

Do you live in some strange parallel universe where you think other posters have the same front door as you?

It doesn't matter what you claim the maximum is per week. At least two people here are getting more than that, from RM. I believe them, not your spurious claim that it can't happen.

I hear you OP in addition to the recorded delivery that went walkabout before reaching me in April.. I managed to confirm last night from various sources who despatched them that a total of FOUR books sent to me have not arrived - this includes one from ebay over a week ago, one from Amazon over a week ago and 2 sent from their respective publishers on 4th July.. I get the feeling that RM are NOT taking this matter seriously even tho have also been onto them about misdelivered mail recently..

Im in the phone and mailing preference service. it does not prevent the junk getting through.(we live in a secured entry building so i know its nto random leafletters). also RM are paid to deliver junk which will always get delivered despite your opting out./ signing up to the preference services:mad:

PS re the Royal mail threads.. you always get custardy turning up to vogiourously defend posties/RM etc... should we be asking why he is an EX postie???

Are you employed by MSE to just annoy people??

Your ongoing loyalty for the postal service is baffling and quite frankly laughable. The service is an absolute state and you insist on defending it to the hilt.

How about actually responding to the main complaint (and the point of the original post) as to why the ever so intelligent postal workers cannot even post an item through the letterbox yet easily post other items.

A trained chimp could get that right.

It's a sad state of affairs that an EX postie feels the need to STILL defend the company.

I cannot fathom why there is any loyalty there whatsoever considering RM would not even remember this guys name. Its pathetic.

You can't say that johnny. Custardy seems to think that I have an ongoing crusade against him for always defending Royal mail, and now he will think that I have a second MSE user name.
