so it seems the only reason he is not working IS to avoid paying for the children him and his ex decided to bring into this world together.

Read my post. I didnt choose to leave my children, by absence is imposed. The CSA liability is also imposed. But fortunately justice prevailed and this is the result

I dont have a problem paying, but provided its fair and legal. currently the law says its NIL.

I am sorry that goes against your ethics.

This is why I support Maria Millers consideration that contact and maintenance is to be linked.

get off your high horse and start showing people respect and you might just get some back!!

the money went to your kids right? well stop complaining!!

you have a legal obligation to support them which you are not doing simply to try to get one over on the system.

how are your kids gonna feel when they are old enough and find out you begrudged them child support and stopped working coz you didnt think it would benefit you?

this is about your children here and whats best for them not whats best for you.

it doesnt matter what your ex does or doesnt do with the money or why she wants the money. you should be busting every bone in your body and more to look after ALL your kids not just the one that lives with you.

and if what the CSA has done is as illegal is you claim then why hasnt the fraud office taken action since they have been informed?

regardless of whether you see the kids you still have to support them!!

if you want to see them go to court and get a contact order. stop making excuses and be a father!

regardless of how much better or worse off you may be, you fathered those children and you have a responsibility to pay for them.

get out there and work to look after your kids !!!!!!!!

The law says the liability is nil, and currently the CSA are owing me money from when I was over-charged.

The CSA cheated, their loss. They chose to break the rules. I didnt have a choise. Now I have a choise, and I choose not work work unless I earn a reasonable income it. £65 a week is less than JSA, and that is not enough.

I still don't understand your calculations. You have protected income of £67.50 (the JSA amount) you will get that as a minimum. How long has it been since a calculation was done for you? I showed you earlier that if you negotiate with the PWC to go on CSA2 then you can have £106.50 p/w and your children will benefit by an extra £40 a week.

:p Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S) :p Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money. :p

No it didnt. it went to the other parent.

I dont understand this delusion that money paid to a PWC actually reaches the children, there is no statutory mechanism to safeguard the money from being used to improve her own lifestyle (they now get benefits AND maintenance).

That much is true, Section 1 of the Child Support Act 1991. The law says I dont owe anything. The CSA still owes me, and thank to another poster, I might be owed even more. I intend to reclaim what is rightfully and lawfully mine.

If you have a problem then that is your problem.

This is nothing to do with "getting one over" anything. The fraud investigation sided with the CSA and I was left with the burden of proof, I would have lost thousands if I didnt have the CSA telephone calls on my laptop to backup my claim.

How many other NRPs have been cheated?

Could this be why the CSA use the telephone, hope they can get one over an NRP?

I caught a decision maker with her knickers at half mast!

I am reliably told, they WILL come looking for me.

Eventually they WILL find out what their mother did. I kept all the paperwork and I intend to show them everything when they are old enough.

The fraud office has, it wiped all the arrears, threats were stopped and the CSA owes me the balance.

I am trying to negotiate a settlement on travel to work, and now I will start work on council tax.

Negotiation it not an option, she wants the full 30%.

Others pay 20% and that is not fair, but its the law.
