Are you off today? If so, the must dos look fairly doable so hopefully you will get the chance to do a few of the others on the other list as well!Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

Yay! Thanks for getting excited with me. The postie brought my final typewriter today... look at this little retro beauty -
I might try to make these lovely things earn their keep by repairing them and hiring them out for weddings or as props.
I've been really inspired by the challenge. I'd love to clear a chunk off my student loan once the wedding's finished. Since my research stipend doesn't count as earnings, and is below £15k anyway I'm not currently paying it off. It would be nice to put it down as a Day Zero challenge to pay off a few k at least. I reckon I could put £100 per month towards it, but it would leave me tight on my half of the rent and bills. Then I could get back on the case and pay off lots of little dribs and drabs... it all adds up.
Tete ofc we wouldn't judge you! Absolutely gutted for you for having such a pants week. It's so easy to do those things, don't beat yourself up about it, especially because they have just reclassified that part of the road
CMD hugs to Max, poor thingHope he feels better soon.
Poddle, everyone on my month was really sorted too, and some were well mean to the rest of us because we weren't sorted mega-early. Hope your planning is going really well:A :heartpuls June 2014 / £2014 in 2014 / £735.97 / 36.5%0 -
In work today CMD, but off tomorrow. Realised last night I'm supposed to be going for coffee with mum and brother and to do a jewellery MS at the same time, however we're due a few deliveries tomorrow so I might have to cancel.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Hi everyone, am feeling a lot better today thank you but stayed off work to recover properly - I know when I go back in I'll have a load of demanding people on the phone wanting to know why xxx wasn't done and I couldn't really face that today!
Am anxiously awaiting the postman, am convinced I must've got caught on Friday as well nowFingers crossed though...
Brilliant idea about hiring out the typewriters Lara, you should totally do it.
Whereabouts in France are you going Dinah? La Rochelle's looking quite nice weather-wise - can't wait to get over there and relax - eat bread and cheese and drink good wine
You're doing well on the challenge CMD, I think I need to work out how to put my ticker into minus figures at the rate I'm goingWeightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
Morning all,
Lara - love the centrepieces, as Tete said they go really well with the venue as well! Feel free to chat about the wedding on here with us, you know we all love a good wedding!
Dinah - hope you manage to get all the must dos done before you go away. The ISA sounds like a good idea. That's what i did when i paid off my overdraft as it was 0% so thought i may as well get some interest!
CMD- poor Max (and you) with the teething.
Is my payday tomorrow but not sure how much i will get as don't know where i am up to on maternity pay and whether they have sorted out my holiday which they should be paying me for a couple of days each month. Will be able to work out my budgets tomorrow.
Getting some bookcases delivered today so finally have somewhere to put the dvds which are just around the floor of the lounge at the moment.0 -
Ouch, poor Max! Hope he's feeling better and less drooly soon!
Glad to hear you're on the med now Tete, good idea to stay off work today, I think you're supposed to give yourself a couple of days anyway so you're no longer contagious... so take tomorrow too!Bread, wine and cheese sounds lovely too.... I can feel myself getting fatter just thinking about it! Mmmmmm. I've told OH I want to go to France soon for an eating holiday, I just love it all!

If I take tomorrow then I'd *have* to take Friday as well and my conscience wouldn't allow that!!
