WHY SO HOT, SUN?!
Now thats an idea I can get behind.
Spent a lot of saturday removing the flaking bits of brick from the house and filling in the holes with mortar. Gonna need to do a second coat on some of it where the holes were particularly deep, I've used nearly an entire 25kg bag of mortar.
But on the plus side I got a twin pack of good quality drills for £50, normally £50 each, and one of them is a hammer drill so it'll go through concrete / breezeblock / brick which is AWESOME.This was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.:j:j:j:j0 -
Thanks Cinny that's really sweet. I think I just need to prioritise to be honest. All ebay/competitions are being wiped off the list until further notice.
NIM and I have decided we need to get a grip. Our taking it slow approach hasn't worked, in fact our debt has risen significantly. So this is a 'getting things in order week' before we start anew on Monday. I really really hope it works for us this time, as things need to change, but I need NIM to be 100% on board with it, and at the moment he doesn't have much faith we can do it.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

I'm ginger and too fair skinned. NIM's just Irish and angry, I think
Hope your new debt clearing plans go well, it seems forever since you were on the right side of it - hope that doesn't sound too rude! I'll try my best to help with cutting back ideas if need some extra noodle dancers!0 -
I am VERY excited for NIMs birthday cake tomorrow. Last year's was a disaster as it was a cheesecake which didn't set in time, I'm hoping this one is good enough to make up for both years.
He doesn't seem sad tbh, a bit quiet, but he was exhausted yesterday after being out all night at what sounded like the biggest 21st do the North East has ever seen (150 guests, sit down meal, 2 live bands, a marquee, black tie).Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

I am 9 months pregnant, feel like a whale, have a swollen feet and generally heat is making me feel horrible - thats where my negativity comes from :rotfl:Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -
Hope the cake turns out well! I'm still chuffed with my Brother's birthday cake and I made that beast a month ago. I treasure this picture! I even did this to put on top of it on little cocktail sticks to make it epic but I didn't have any tape!
Lucky break from your Brother's ladylove though. I wish I had your luck! Well, as long as they don't have a big 'romantic' make up where all the facebook comments somehow manage to get even more gross.
I'm really excited because I finally ordered contacts today!! I even got coloured ones to make my eyes look a little greener. Just hope I like wearing them, they'll be a lot better for when we go on holiday if I can get on with them!
Ugghhh, can't even imagine how you must be feeling Flower!! I heard it's meant to cool back down by tomorrow and be all Autumny by Thursday - yes!!0 -
Omg Flower you must be so excited, your little one could decide to make an appearance at any time! Tell me you have a smart phone - we want a name as soon as you're up to it, I love threadbabies.
Contacts take a little getting used to Cinny, I can usually feel one in my right eye as its not as good a fit as the left, and they're soft lenses cos I'm a wuss! Have you gone for disposable ones or ones you wash at night? I didn't realise when I first got lenses you aren't supposed to look like you've been permenantly crying - turns out I was more than a bit allergic to solution.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008
