My mum won't let me block my brother on facebook. Him and his gf have the worst relationship of any couple I've ever had the misfortune to spend time around, yet every single day I have their childish drivel popping up on my phone to the point I've turned facebook off on it. I just want to shake them and tell them they're not the great romance they think they are and no one is envious of their 'love' rather we pity them for thinking a relationship should be either screaming at one another, ignoring one another, or talking crap so mindless it sounds like how a great aunt talks to a baby.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Can you not block his status updates?
Hi all! Just checking in while the baby sleeps. Max's Nanna and Grandad are taking him to the zoo this morning. Am slightly jealous as I love the zoo and it is his first time but lack of sleep is making me stay at home! Evie was up every 2 hours for feeding last night!
Can't remember who was asking for a photo of Evie but whoever it was feel free to send me a PM and I will add you on Facebook. We still can't decide who she looks like, but I can defo see a bit of Max in her!
Zig - I agree with Wendz and NIM. The people all over each other on FB are attention seekers and are likely to have a rubbish relationship.
Wendz - any progress on the dress accessories? Nude is a lovely colour too. I can't wear it as I am so pale.
I am trying to keep up with everyone so forgive me if I am missing people out. I am reading though!Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

Aww shame you are missing on the zoo but i know that feeling when the best thing in the world is sleep.
Poppy was up every hour the night before last arghh, much better last night though.
No update on the accessories yet. My sister is coming down today so might have a look at shops with her as she is good at things like that.
Had a nice lunch in London yesterday for my managers maternity lunch. Was chatting to my director as well and he was being really nice and saying my new times of work are flexible so i may be able to get a slightly earlier train home some days which will be good. He also said when i have my pay review in April he will have a word with head of department about a payrise as he knows it is a struggle with childcare etc. Very glad that I work when I do, they really are lovely!
Had a crying baby on the train home, she was quite happy the first half then got a bit fed up. Was a silent commuter train so bit embarassing. Had the nicest lady next to me who told me she had a 7 month grandson when I got off i apologised for the crying and she said i was a brilliant mum, bless her!0 -

Your work sound like the nicest people ever Wendz, no wonder you don't want to leave. I don't blame you!
Do you BF in public? I have just been feeding in the section in John Lewis or Debenhams. I don't feel confident enough to do it in public yet. I don't think I could be discreet enough.Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

My mum won't let me block my brother on facebook.
One reason I deleted my facebook was because I was sick of seeing my Brother and his Girlfriend write soppy messages to each other when they're not like that at all. Or posts of my Brother's Girlfriend going apesh*t if another girl dared to post on my Brother's wall. It's like seriously, why does that have to be out in public.. constantly?! I think I told Rich I loved him once on facebook. But even that was just to wind him up.
Glad you're doing well with Evie, CMD! I can't even imagine how crazy busy you must be with those two little ones and getting ready for a move. Super Mum indeed!
How are you feeling, Zig? I'd be annoyed too. But then I think how quickly he's moved onto someone else is beyond tacky. Maybe, in a weird way, it'd be good to keep him on facebook. Because one day you will read one of his status updates, or see a picture of him with his new girlfriend and you won't be hurt or annoyed or any kind of emotion with it anymore. I dunno, makes sense in my head but I can't write it down!
It's Rich's payday so our bill account is looking very plump! We've managed to squirrel away a couple hundred from last month towards gas this Winter :j And we actually made it through last month not worrying about money at all which was nice, although I'm wanting to get back to my frugal ways to make this easy coasting last as long as possible. I'm even going foraging  Found a little lane which is full of blackberry bushes on my way home from my scary first run!
Our new windows are in though! And it's weirdly quiet and the glass doesn't wobble when the bus goes past. When this heatwave stops we're all ready for real Autumn!0 -
Took so long to type that I missed Wendz and CMD's posts! How bloody lovely of your work though, Wendz! Although I always say how great they sound. Must be a total weight off your mind hearing about the possible pay rise.0

Might not happen but at least i know they will put a good word in for me!
CMD - Yes i do bf in public, just cover up the area with a muslin, must admit it does get easier to do this after a while. I still find it a bit scary but i have only ever had nice things said to me by people! Half the time i think people don't even realise you are doing it.
Yay for Richs payday Cinny! You are doing good with your saving.0 -
Morning, haven't been keeping up too well - work is just so unbelievably ridiculously busy, but it's just not letting up so I'm taking some time for myself this morning with my coffee. Stupid thing is, people are so impatient - if they'd just stop ringing me to find out when they'll hear about their application or get a reply to their email that they sent half an hour ago, I might have TIME to actually sort the applications and reply to the emails. I'm not people's biggest fan at the moment
Oh and in other annoying-work-related-but-also-money-related news - the effing cleaners 'cleaned up' off my desk £15 worth of stationery receipts which I was going to claim back from petty cash! Grrr!!! And yet there are still crumbs under my keyboard!!
Zig in all seriousness I hope that FB stuff hasn't knocked you too much, it's such a great place for keeping in touch with friends but the invention of the devil at the same time. I'm really glad my ex isn't on there, it would drive me loopy dissecting every little status or 'like'.
Well done on the cycling NIMI'm going for my first run in two weeks tomorrow, should be fun. I have to say I didn't really enjoy the GNR - I wasn't prepared for that distance and I found the middle 5 miles or so really hard going - on the motorway in the rain with no spectators. You can read more here if you want.
CMD I've said on FB but I'll say again, Evie is such a little sweetie! What does Max think of her?
Wendz that's a lovely dress! I would go for silver, bronze or gold accessories I think, though the nude would be nice too. Not black, I think that would suck the zing out of the blue - and it's a bit dark for the weather we're having. I wouldn't wear red or pink but then everyone else seems to like that so maybe my finger has slipped from the fashion pulse!!
Can I have some fashion advice please? I'm going to buy this coat in a week or two when Topshop have their 20% student discount promotion (£89 >>> £71) :money: But I can't decide what size. The 12 fits nice on the shoulders and the sleeves are a nice length and I feel comfortable in it, BUT it looks quite big especially around the back. The 10 looks a better fit BUT the sleeves aren't quite as long as I'd like (but still an OK length) and I feel more restricted around the shoulder area. With it being a duffel coat, is it OK to be a bit big, is that the style? I'm worried if I buy the 10 I'll be uncomfortable in it and regret it, but if I buy the 12 I'll feel swamped and unflattered in it and regret that too! Any thoughts?
Hope everyone else is well - I've missed too much to try and comment on everyone I think!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
How annoying about the cleaners they shoudln't be allowed to throw anything away!
Personally i would go for the bigger size, especialy if you think you might be wearing layers etc in wiwnter but hard to say without seeing it on. Love the coat though is gorgeous!0 -
Thanks for the comments on facebook CMD and Tete. My uncle who lives in Cambodia passed away today from a heart attack. He was 46. Left behind a wife and two boys (aged 7 and 13). To say I'm devastated is an understatement to be honest. It was all so sudden. Has made me realise what's important though. And analysing facebook isn't up there on my list of important things in life.
Thank you for all your comments though, and I do know what you mean Cinny about keeping him on there.Total Debt (Dec 2015) £11,500 : Currently £7,675Lose 21lb : 0/21
