Was banned in ireland for years. The Church had quite a bit of control in the 70s and 80s, Thankfully came back in time for me to grow up with itDreamerHelen wrote: »I used to love Blackadder...Still makes me laugh when I watch the Re-Runs...clearmydebts wrote: »One of my favourite films of all time is Kevin and Perry Go Large. "Listen very caerfullie, i vil sa dis onlah wunce..." Yes, (Prime) Minister got 3 episodes in Ireland and I missed 1 and a half of them.

Morning all! Early start for me today. Max has been awake since 6.30am and didn't go to bed til 9.30pm. He had his jabs yesterday though so will forgive him the lack of sleep!
The poor thing, he had 3 injections into the legs & he clung to me like a little moneky shouting 'No' at the nurse. At least the anger was directed towards her and not me, but he sobbed his little heart out
I had a packet of milky way buttons for him when we came out though and he brightened up immediately as he only ever gets 2-3 buttons every few days so to get an entire pack was like baby heaven for him!
I am bringing him to nursery in a while and will go back to bed for a nap I think, then will try and attempt to clean this cess pit. I feel like I am fighting a losing battle because every room I clean Max comes into and messes in 5 minutes. LolTotal (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

Aww poor Max!
And poor you for not getting enough sleep!
Back to normal work for me today, no more getting lost lost in Leeds, hurrah! The exam was really difficult, annoyingly the bits that I just couldn't get into my head (and that the trainer didn't spend enough time on IMO) made up about a quarter of the questions so I'll be lucky if I pass, don't find out for a couple of weeks though, but I do have a certificate to show off the fact that I did the course, it should say on the bottom that I successfully navigated a terrible road system in a rubbish car too, more proud of that than the course TBH!
So odd that you should mention Kevin and Perry CMD, we watched that on Saturday morning! It's one of OH's favourites and I hadn't seen it all the way through so we watched it with breakfast! Can't believe we've got people on here who haven't seen the Inbetweeners, it's brilliant. I even gave it to my Mum to watch and she thought it was hilarious, therefore making it pass the Old Test! My favourite part of the film is when they first start dancing in the bar, it really tickled me!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -

Yep - the dancing in the bar scene was my favourite bit of the film. I loved it!
Did you enjoy Kevin and Perry Birdie?
I feel so rough today. It took me 1h 20 mins to do a 40 min walk. I feel like if I was animal I would be put down. I wasn't a bit like this in the last pregnancy. When I was 8 days overdue I went to Oxford for the day and walked around for 7 hours. Now I can't walk anywhere.Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

Aww CMD, it has been well stressful for you lately. Hope you manage to get some proper rest. Is your OH up and about yet? This pregnancy must be a lot more tiring already having a little one to look after. Was reading the birth stories this morning. There are quite a few nice ones there
In exciting news I have got OH's old iPhone yipppeee! And changed my o2 plan so finally going to get Google maps. I'm never going to get lost again. I think it will change my life quite ridiculously. And OH's when I'm not calling him up saying 'am lost and on the corner of X street'!! Anyway I should get activated in half an hour.:A :heartpuls June 2014 / £2014 in 2014 / £735.97 / 36.5%0 -

Aw CMD, that's too sad! And poor little Max having his jabs yesterdayI hope a nap sorts you out a bit!
I haven't really watched the Inbetweeners either - the bits of the series I saw I just thought they were horrid grubby boys! Though I did laugh quite a lot...
Even though we all know Cinny has smashed the £1000 challenge, I'm still pleased to be doing it - it's very motivating. My total has crept up from a couple of Amazon book sales, a refund for OH's parking permit (since he sold his car) and £37 from TCB, so I'm 25% there!
How's the spending going Cinny? Any more lovely purchases?
Glad your course is finished Birdie, I'm sure you'll pass - is it a problem if you don't though?
Hope your headache is better today Dinah, your NY itinerary sounds brilliant - so organised to be making reservations before you go! Are you and NIM big meat eaters? The best meal I had in NYC was at this Brazilian Rodizio - it's a set price and they bring you these incredible cuts of meat (and delicious sides!) until you hold up your red paddleyou can always turn it to green again later... yummers!
