I want to go see Harry Potter but still haven't left Poppy.
Flower - sorry to hear you aren't doing so good. Honestly if they said baby is ok he will be fine. A lot of babies are born small and they are absolutely fine.0 -
So many posts!!!
Flower - try not to worry about the baby. I was measuring 4 weeks behind on Max and had to have an extra scan. They said he would be small and he came out 7lbs 15ozs!!! I am measuring 2 weeks behind on this baby but as it is lying sideways the midwife said that will be the reason. At least they are monitoring you so hopefully your bump will catch up a bit.
Amy - your niece sounds like a right miracle. Bet you can't wait to move back.
Dinah - apparently smaller babies are harder to push out because they don't have any weight behind them. The big'uns are supposed to be better.
NIM - the very best of luck to you
Tete - that table that you restored/redecorated looks amazing on Facebook
Well my expenses came in and they didn't penalise me for being late with one set! I could have put it towards the challenge but I have chosen to pay off the Virgin credit card instead, as that has the lowest balance. Only £215 left on that now. Can't wait to get rid of it!!! So this has put me in an excellent mood as it has been a long time since I have been able to pay that amount of money off a card. My aim is to get rid of that card now so might be a bit slow on the challenge for the next while.Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

Yay on the card CMD! Will feel great when you have got rid of it.
I am just sorting Poppys stuff out to take down to Southampton this weekend. Need to sort mine but OH was working till 3am so still asleep and feel bad waking him up yet.0 -
Thats so exciting to being near to paying one off. It'll be a huge relief to feel like you're another one down. I kind of wish we had some small ones, just so I could feel like it wasn't such a huge mountain, but we need to focus on the one we pay interest on, and that's at £4000!
We applied for the 0% cards btw, refused. Well, not strictly true, Barclaycard said they needed more time to consider the application, but I've never had that come up and then it not be a refusal.
No word off NIM yet, he's sent some of those butterflies this way, and they have army boots on and are stomping about my tummy.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

I got the same message from Barclaycard last night
I feel like saying to them, 'but I will behave with this card, my bad credit rating is because Tesco are rubbish at telling me when to pay so I forget to do it and I can't set up a direct debit because I can't get their details since they haven't sent me a statement with their bank details on in the last 2 years to set it up....'
But they're not interested in all that!
10 minutes left to work then I've got the afternoon off! Yay! No plans, just mooching about since I've got to use my last half day before the end of the month. I might do something crafty.Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -

The other ones are fairly big but OH's relocation should put a dent in his card and then that will be another one down in a few months. 3 cards seems much more manageable than 5.
Sorry to hear about Barclaycard Dinah. I didn't apply yet. I need to get myself on the electoral register in Scotland. I might get OH to apply either. He just has the one card.

Rubbish news on the Barclaycard, I guess its good in a way that banks are toughening up, but from a personal point of view it seems bonkers that way back when I was in debt up to my eyeballs without even a permanent job, the banks would happily loan me £8k for no real reason whatsoever, but now I'm all well behaved and (almost sort of) debt free, I can't get a bean. Not that I want any more credit, but I couldn't even get a phone contract a few months ago! And I'd only left that same provider 6 months previously with no late payments etc whatsoever. I know what you mean Birdie, I just wanted to call them up and say "But I'm good now!"
p.s. Jealous of the Gryffindor scarf, may have to hunt one down this afternoon! I have to say, a lot of the fancy dress last night was fairly poor, lots of people just randomly in school uniform, but more the short skirts, St Trinians type of look. Not sure Professor McGonagall would have approved!Barclaycard [STRIKE]£7,296.35[/STRIKE] £6134.99 - MBNA [STRIKE]£4,182.88[/STRIKE] £3267.08 - O/draft [STRIKE]£569.31[/STRIKE] £413.59 - Capital One [STRIKE]£1477.55[/STRIKE] £1451.44Total debt [STRIKE]£12048.54[/STRIKE] £11267.10 6% paid0 -
