CMD- from personal experience the ball idea usually works - its just not very glam.

Dinah - sorry you are feeling teary today, its good to cry sometimes though. Just tell your work mates its hayfever.

I got a shock this morning, I have a little niece that was born in NZ weighing just 640g and my sister just informed me she is now 6 months old - god knows where the time has gone but she is now a hefty 6 pounds 9oz. Yay for miracles.

I think the butterflies have been taking steroids mind.
This was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.

Kavics is right, this thread does move quickly!

Dinah, your distraction to-do list is massive! But glad to see you have one relaxing thing on it. (Add more!) And fingers crossed you'll be celebrating your hubby's promotion this weekend too :D

Amy, that's wonderful news about your niece! I'll keep out of the baby advice though, not my area of expertise :o Though the book I'm reading at the moment (The hand that first held mine) has been really eye-opening and a bit terrifying in its depiction of life with a newborn!

Sending positive thoughts NIM, you can do it.

She really is a miracle, even if she looked like a skinned monkey when she was born.

We are planning to move back early next year. I'm a kiwi but OH is a Yorkshire lad, so its me going home with 3 strays. It will be a big change as OH will be coming out of the forces after 12 years and I have lived over here nearly 10 years.

    Morning everyone!

Dinah - hugs to you today x

Archer - those shoes look fab, I'm another who is scared of high heels, I got vertigo just looking at yours!

NIM - good luck vibes coming your way!

Birdie - I am a fully fledged Harry Potter geek, am going tonight and am super excited. A few friends and I went to see Part 1 again last night as the cinema were reshowing it at 9, then the new one straight after at 12. When we came out after the film the foyer was chock full of witches and wizards, they were queuing out of the door for the midnight screening, very surreal!

Off to do some MS in a bit, couple of clothes shops so some non-spendy vibes are needed :)

OH called up his car insurance last night. Upped his yearly mileage, changed his career and is saving £10 a month. Like Flower and her Virgin savings, we won't see it until next month but it's done. And that's a great saving btw Flower :) How're you feeling?

Honestly I am not feeling great at the minute - can really feel my depression trying to creep up on me. Poor OH cant say or do anything right, I've been crying a lot :(
We had an extra scan yesterday (28 weeks) because they were concerned baby might not be growing as well as he should because I have a low BMI, to be honest I wasnt worried at all but now they have worried me! Said he is measuring small but not to worry, when people tell me not to worry, I worry!
Got another scan at 34 weeks to check on his progress then.

Fingers crossed for you today NIM!

Oh just realised where you're based Amy! Very close to our Northern contingient! :D What brought you over here in the first place?

That book sounds a little scary Poddle!

ETA: Couple of crossed posts there! Sorry you're feeling blue Flower, are there any natural ways of treating the depression? I'm sure your boy will be fine but it's good that they're keeping an eye on you both.

Shrimpy, I really wanted to go to the midnight showing, but stupid work got in the way! I remember going to see the first film on the day it came out dressed as a witch, we'd brought brooms and stuffed owls and everything! Was brilliant! :D I've got a Gryffindor scarf to wear tomorrow! :D

Its all guess work really, you could just have ovulated later in your cycle than is usual so he'd be a bit small because he was actually conceived a bit later than they think. I really wouldn't worry, if they're saying he's fine then I'm sure he is, and if he's small he's easier to push out!
