Better than expected but worse than I'd hoped, its a no for at least 3 months, but assuming I hit a couple of key targets by then they are putting me forward for the course for membership to the industry body. This was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.:j:j:j:j0

Some good and some not so good then. I am sure you will hit those targets with ease.0 -
Its one of those change something thats become fairly ingrained in you type targets. Apparently I ramble and overcomplicate things...now if you look at the chart below I will disprove this assuming there areno solar flaresThis was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.:j:j:j:j0

Blimey, nothing like a new thread to get everyone gassing!
Not sure I understand NIM - you didn't get the promotion but it's possible in three months if you'd just shut your trap?
Sorry to hear you're feeling down Dinah, can't believe it's been six months already. The 'firsts' are always hard but once you get the first year out of the way it gets easier. Are you going to make time to give your grandad a call?
Sorry you're down too Flower - try not to worry about the baby and make some time for yourself to relax xx
Poddle I LOVED The Hand that First Held Mine - those crying descriptions were brilliant, you could almost hear it. LOVE LOVE LOVE Maggie O' Farrell, have you read her others? My faves are The Vanishing Act of Esme Lennox and After You'd Gone.
Thanks for your compliment on my table CMD - I'm so pleased with it (here it is if anyone wants to have a nosey).
Am I the only one who picked up on 'Apply to be a Sloggi knicker tester' on Dinah's list? WHAT??
Well I was a good girl and brought my dinner in from home today, saving about £3 on a jacket potato and choccy bar. Ryvitas just don't seem to cut it though when you've done a 5k run in your dinner hourI'm going to make a note of these little savings and transfer a lump sum into my savings at the end of each week.
Would love to see Harry Potter but don't have the nerve to go on my own (again!) - must see if anyone will go with me. All my Harry fan friends live miles away - might have to wait for the DVD alas!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
They sent me an email asking if I want to test their knickers, but I have to write to them to say yes please send me free pants!
I hadn't actually thought of calling him, I'm such a dunce. Thank you, I will tonight.
I'm trying to conquer a fear this afternoon. I currently have a brazil nut, a pecan and half an almond on my keyboard. I'm going to try to eat them before hometime. I hate nuts, they scare me, but equally I hate not liking foods as I don't want to be picky!
ETA: Can anyone tell me another food with the texture of nuts to try to normalise this for me? I can't think of a hard food that doesn't crumble or melt when you bite it that isn't bone/teethDebt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

What do you test them for? Comfort, durability, elasticity, non-wedgability?
I love nuts! Yumyumyum! Not sure about the bone/teeth thing, have never had a chicken bone melt or crumble on me (not bitten it hard enough at any rate!) Seeds are pretty similar - if you eat pumpkin or sunflower seeds they're a similar texture. Or tomato or pomegranate seeds?Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
I don't really, again, it just seems contrary to all other foods - if yuo bite something hard that means bone therefore bad and spit it out. The nuts are still looking at me fairly untouched.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008
