Urgh, that's the thing I'm really not looking forward to about babies! Really hoping I get a sleep-through-the-nighter!
Nice to know that your OH has been fed and recharged a bit now Wendz, I hope he does get the weekend off and loads of extra money in his paycheck!
D'oh Poddle, I forgot to ask about your interview! Wasn't it last week? When do you hear about it?Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
You might be lucky! Met a lady yesterday with twin girls that go to bed at 7 and only wake once at 3 and then sleep till 7, I was so jealous haha. Some people have it far worse than me though which makes me feel a lot better.0

Morning all, haven't posted in a few days but have been just about keeping up! Trying to cram in all the pesky last minutes jobs as I am off work from Thursday. Enjoyed all the kitchen p0rn and it has given me a little extra oomph towards the challenge and getting the debt gone once and for all so I can save towards my own bricks and mortar! Moneywise, had a cheque for £10.55 from Music Magpie - not much considering how much I sent them but I look at it that they are paying me to declutter. Also withdrawn £50 from paypal for eBay bits and pieces - sold a skirt for 99p over the weekend then realised the buyer was in Germany when I hadn't specified International postage, so doubt he will pay up when he realises the postage will cost three times more than the skirt!
Anyway enough rambling, back to Mount Paperwork! Sounds like you are doing quite well for the challenge Shrimpy!
I am getting close on OP to redeeming £40 so keep checking it.0 -
Ooh I don't think I could manage a 5am start, Archers! But I'm sure it will be worth the long weekend.
You sound very productive Shrimpy! It's nice to get everything out of the way before your days off.
The interview was okay - thanks for asking Birdie- but I was very hot and sweaty, which can't have worked to my advantage! I get very annoyed with myself that I become completely inarticulate and babbly in interviews. But we'll see... If I did get the job then I wouldn't be able to do the internship in October, so lots to think about, but I'd be happy either way.
I think sleep deprivation is one of the most off-putting factors about babies - is that terrible? But they're worth it...right?!

Wendz - I am almost halfway on OP but get screened out of probably half of them due to not having children - I'm too honest! I am a fan of it though, you get asked some bizarre questions! Good luck with the redeem!
Glad to hear the interview was ok Poddle, its natural to get a bit 'babbly' (surely not a real word) in interviews - personally when I interview I prefer that to someone who seems too confident as it kind of proves you care about getting the job IYSWIM? Good that you'd be happy either way too! When do you find out?Barclaycard [STRIKE]£7,296.35[/STRIKE] £6134.99 - MBNA [STRIKE]£4,182.88[/STRIKE] £3267.08 - O/draft [STRIKE]£569.31[/STRIKE] £413.59 - Capital One [STRIKE]£1477.55[/STRIKE] £1451.44Total debt [STRIKE]£12048.54[/STRIKE] £11267.10 6% paid0 -
It's very quiet on here - busy afternoon?!
Anyone fancy a DOTD? I quite like the assymetrical straps, but not sure if it would just look like it's falling off all the time
ETA: Exactly Shrimpy! Babbly isn't even a real word! I'm expecting to hear whether I have a second interview later this week. Fingers crossed...LBM Sep 2008 debt: £27,927.04start weight: 140.2, week 2: 1380 -
It is quiet isn't it? Thought I would have a quick catch up over lunch but it didn't take long! Can only see the back of the dress for some reason, my computer won't load the whole page, but love the colour and the style of the back - oh to be tall and willowy!Barclaycard [STRIKE]£7,296.35[/STRIKE] £6134.99 - MBNA [STRIKE]£4,182.88[/STRIKE] £3267.08 - O/draft [STRIKE]£569.31[/STRIKE] £413.59 - Capital One [STRIKE]£1477.55[/STRIKE] £1451.44Total debt [STRIKE]£12048.54[/STRIKE] £11267.10 6% paid0
