  • It's official Moo and grocery shopping do not mix :rotfl::rotfl:

I only popped into asd* to get a few bits for our camping trip at the weekend ended up £30 lighter and shopping bags filled. With sweets and chocolate . I'm sure it won't all get eaten at the weekend so I can bring it home and it will hopefully last a few weeks .

I have got a few pence sitting in a few accounts so I'm going to transfer it all into one account which will be the start of the emergency fund savings :T
    Emergency fund £0/£300
    Total debt 120/£10,750

i often find grocery shopping and Mr LT don't mix either, he's terrible at 'just' picking up things.
  • Not been on here for a few days had a weekend away camping which was a free weekend apart from the purchase of alcoholic beverages "hic hic" and believe me I needed alcohol :D Moo Was an absolute madam the whole weekend ,extremely rude to me and her whole attitude was way above her station . Some tough measures are going to be enforced :D( less tv ,computer games, sweets etc ,punished for back chatting and no respect for others especially me ) I am going to take back control . It's my own fault I give her everything and she is spoilt. As you can guess this weekend was hard :(

Had all my budget planned out for the month and then CSA have informed me that they have refunded ex the remanding amount of money due to me this month as somewhere along the line he has overpaid :mad: I would rather they took £10 a month until the full overpayment was refunded back to him after all that's how he used to pay child maintenance to me before his employers were involved :mad:

So £100 down this month things are going to be very tight ! But I am determined to manage !

Just hope I receive CSA payment at end of the month as usual !

    That's all folks

oh good luck with the prospective battles with Moo, hope you can get her sorted. I'm not sure how old she is but i remember my sister saying each of hers went through a stage where they had a school summer holiday to almost 'break' the attitude/will and turn her kids back into the nice children she'd sent into school at the start of the year.
  • Hi Moos mum,
Thanks for your kind words in my diary. Thought I would pop in and read yours. Ive subscribed! I know what you mean about spoilt kids!!! All mine are spoilt but my daughter is especially hard work. Shes 15 and knows everything and is "always" right!!! Her new trick is playing me off against her dad. Its not working though and i wont give in. I've realised tonight that the only time she is "nice" is when its for her benefit! God help her when/if she decides to move in with her dad, she wont last 5 minutes as he is as much of a control freak as she is.

Hi moos mum. Sorry the camping was such hard work. Kids can be hard at times. Boo hiss to them taking all that money in one go. Surely it would have been better if they has asked you how you wanted it clawed back?

I want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?
  • Moo is in the middle of a tantrum:eek:
So I'm on here to calm down and stop myself arguing back with her :D

Since we last spoke I've informed tax credits of change to employment details so hopefully my payment next week will be for the new amount and I will have a better idea of where I am financially .

There is some money saved for bills :T:T

The ex keeps calling leaving voice messages to ask how Moo is like he is super dad of the universe I'm ignoring his calls as we just argue I can't be dealing with him today . And anyway he is supposed to only have contact with me and Moo through my solicitor . Which he Has blatantly ignored and hasn't even contacted solicitor to make arrangements to see Moo . Moo has not seen him since Christmas day .

On happier note I start my new job tomorrow :D

And if anybody would like an 8year old drama queen with an attitude let me know :rotfl::rotfl:

finances all seem on track and organised. You must feel proud of yourself. Good luck with the new job tomorrow.
sorry to hear Moo is having tantrum, but well done for staying calm and 'ignoring' it. Unfortunately i don't think i'll have any space for a drama queen - i think they seem to need a lot of space for the tiara's and we just don't have any.
