    Morning all ,

Today will be a 'catch up' day.

Planning on just tidying ,washing, ironing and last but not least checking the bank balances  and working out what pennies have got to go where .not looking forward to it at all !:o

Also need to plan the rest of the holidays ,as I am starting work next week I wont be having as much free time so need to juggle days out with days off .

Hope you all have a superb Saturday :D

Just a quick catch up I have done everything on my todo list ( except ironing :rotfl:)

I have done the budget for the next 2 weeks not as scary as I imagined don't know why I was being a wuss and putting it off . things are gonna be tight but somehow I managed to find the money to pay the direct debits, bills and half the rent . Not too worried about the rent as landlords ( family members ) know the situation I'm in with changing jobs and the rent will be paid in full by the end of the month

I could only budget for the next two weeks because after that I don't know what will be coming in and when it's all about to change after next week

  • Not much going on here today

Have just done an online shop due to arrive tomorrow ,not sure it was any quicker or that I got to see all that was on offer but on the plus side it stopped Moo adding extras into the trolley :D

Taking Moo swimming in a bit at the gym so that should be errrmm "fun":o but I did promise .also gets the most out of our gym membership so it's a free activity .

Just started raining here so I best hurry and get washing off the line :o

Hope you all having a good day

    Hi

Swim was o.k not as bad as I feared ! I like swimming and so does Moo although she prefers spending time under the water being a mermaid ,doing twirls ,pretending to be a dolphin just general 8 year old stuff :D
Was a bit worried as it was the first time I've taken her to the gym pool and was worried that she would get on everyone's nerves but there were other kids there and she actually did swimming :T

But note to self never buy after swim snacks from gym cafe again far to expensive

    Tomorrow I have to

Measure myself for work uniform :o
    Fax measurements to head office
Check head office have bank details (email keeps being returned )
Fax bank details to head office
    Cancel love film
    Send back love film DVD
Change over direct debits into one account
Go to fat club :o :( ( if only there was a crying smiley)
Get a few bits in town ( hopefully all for a tenner but doubtful)
Half hour reading with Moo ( she's reading not me )
    Water plants
    :(:( ironing :(:(
    Clean out rabbit hutch
    Book cinema tickets for Tuesday

I'm sure I have more to do but will update when I remember

Night all I'm off to read my book :D

    Evening

Everything on list is done except ironing and cleaning out the rabbit hutch !

Did manage to cancel phone insurance so an extra few quid to go into either the emergency fund to get it started and then on to the debt fund :T

Got another list as long as my arm for tomorrow ;) but it's working and I'm getting all the jobs done that have been hanging around for ages . :T

Not sure why I was scared to go to fat club as I lost 2.5lbs :T:T
Been set another challenge to loose a pound for next week ,pressure is on :o

glad you had a great time on holiday. ref the air bed. was it just a seam that popped? If so i think the things from a bicycle repair kit might seal it so that it can be used again.

well done on the weight loss. I am stuck at the moment. must get some motivation together to actually DO some exercise lol

well done for getting so many things done from your list and for your weight loss, that's great.
  • Not a lot to report today

Was a bit slow today feeling tired was up late watching the news unfold of the London riots sad times

Feel sad :( the south east areas particularly. Lewisham is the area which I grew up and I have friends there so was waiting to hear from them but all were fine. I'm so lucky I don't live there now .

    Sad times .

On a happier note me and Moo went to the cinema a neighbour told me that it was cheaper to go on a Tuesday . I wanted to see the new Disney cars film but Moo informed me that "mum your such a geek that's so uncool :rotfl::rotfl:" My repy was "I'll have you know young lady that geek is chic :D" this little exchange has had me smiling all day :T:T needles to say we didn't see cars but horrid Henry instead

Due to go to a picnic with Moo's school friends tomorrow but I'm not too keen hoping I can use wet weather as an excuse not to go :o

Hope you are all safe and well
