    Hello Moo's Mum,

I've also just returned to MSE after a bit of a hiatus. I've been reading a few people's diaries to help me understand how other people are doing it, and I've been so inspired by your story.

What a fab mum you are to Moo - it's obvious that she's the apple of your eye. I think you're doing really well - things like paying your rent on time etc - well done. I'm inspired by your resilience and determination. Thank you

    Ah thanks smilerwoman

Even though as of yet I haven't paid off any money towards debt or put any into savings I am pleased because so far I have not had to borrow any money from the bank of mum and dad either ,I am living within in my means :T:T

Whith going from weekly paid to monthly paid in the near future all saving and debt busting is on hold and the idea is to live within budget and to not borrow money to tide me over .

Lunch then a nice country walk for us which Moo is not happy about she would rather be glued to the tv all day .

why is kids tv so loud and crazy !! It drives me mental no wonder so many kids are hyper all the time , I'm a fan of quiet time :rotfl::rotfl:

Have a lovely day everyone xx

    Evening all

Our country walk was lovely just nice to spend some time in the fresh air, spend some time with Moo giggling and being silly. Although wasn't exactly a cheap day out £2.50 to park and then £6 on two drinks and 2 ice creams  will remember to take own drinks next time and borrow mums parking pass .Whilst Moo was playing on adventure playground and I was sitting like a loner ( Moo far too cool to have mum watch her on the swings and slide ;) ) it gave me time to think ,maybe a bit to much time as thoughts started to get a bit deep and meaningful :rotfl::rotfl: looking at Moo playing and mixing with other children it shocked me how much she has grown up :o . realising how quickly time passes and really you only get one shot at life.

I know this is a bit doom and gloom but I'm not living the life I want ,not saying that my life is bad in fact I have a fantastic life with a lot of love and laughter in it . But I am not happy with myself which dominates a big part of my life and effects what I do I.e I spend to make me happy or I spend for something to do to avoid being bored and not to highlight my loneliness (not that I would let on how lonely I feel )

As of right now I'm going to make the most of life and make positive
decisions as my sister says it's all about making the effort in everything you do . So I will go to fat club tomorrow even though I have eaten extremely unhealthy all week and have not achieved the mini target of loosing half a pound this week .

Sorry for doom and gloom just felt the need to let off a bit of steam .

Sometimes you need a time of self reflection. I have been doing something called eating frogs this last two weeks. Things that have been put off and put off are frogs. it can be making a phone call or tidying 'that' area of the house. Anyway the point is that frogs when you actually tackle them tend to be not nearly as scary as one thought, so they give you quite a powerful lift....

What are your frogs and how can you tackle them?

    Morning

After my rather gloomy post yesterday I am in a better mood after all today is a new day and the sun is shining :D

Washing is on the line and next load waiting to go in machine :j

We are off into town today going to sign Moo up to the summer reading challenge with the library after all it's free and will give us something to do every week when we go and get another book ( in theory anyway ).
Also will be spending a little it's have to get. Stuff For the rabbit hutch .I am planning to have a look in a few places to find the cheapest instead of the usual just pick up the first thing I see

I'm just waiting for the money to come in this week as it's end of the month for me all bills and direct debits come out this week and for once the money is there in accounts without me having to borrow from money set aside for something else :j

The holiday fund is looking a bit sad consideriing we go on Friday not that I am too concerned as will be getting a CSA payment before we go
and I will get paid while away

Hope you all have a lovely day

    Morning Moo's mum,

Glad you're having a better day today. Funny how the sun coming out can make you feel better. It's the same here today. A bit of sunshine brushes the cobwebs off. :j

Also, Chev, I love your eating frogs idea. I'm going to use that one! :D

What a day not at all what I had planned.

Firstly I have resigned from my job today:mad::mad: I know I was going to do it anyway within the next few weeks but I was going to do it properly and give notice BUT

This morning I had a call from one of the ladies I work for she told me that the banking was wrong yesterday because I had undercharged someone on Saturday. And I needed to come into sort it today ,I politely apologised for my mistake and said was not able to come in today ,she then goes on to inform me that if I didnt come in and sort the money would be taken out of my wages this week to rectify the problem :mad::mad:. As the amount is £100 it means I won't get paid so I made a decision to go and hand in my resignation today with immediate effect

I'm so angry I have no problems admitting that it was my fault or my mistake and am not denying it either but I was working on my own Saturday and it was very busy it was so stressful that I was even in tears at one point .

Also annoyed that the money is recoverable as we have the customers credit card details so we only have to charge the card the excess amount :mad: it was just the way I was spoken to .

Anyway I have walked out off job and things are going to be extremely tight money wise but sometimes dignity and pride are more important along with happiness

I'm so sorry about what happened with work. Sounds like the right decision to leave if that's how you get treated.
    Sending ((hugs)) xx

Another boring post from me I'm afraid

Now that I am unemployed I thought I had better re evaluate the budget and let's say its not good not good at all .

Looks like I'm going to have to cancel the holiday that we are due to go on this Friday :o although it is paid for and I will loose the money that's been paid .I physically can't afford to go . It's a choice between paying the bills or going away . I feel so stupid !! , the worst bit is that Im going to have to tell Moo and it's going to be heartbreaking as she is soo looking forward to it all she's been talking about for days

But what can I do I'm not getting paid this week and even if I didnt resign I still wouldn't be paid . I'm between a rock and a hard place .I could have prepared better I was stupid to rely on being paid this week and using this weeks wages .

With it being likely that both housing benefit and working and child tax credit being reduced and the added fact that it is a possibility that by the time I start new job I would have missed Augusts payroll cut off date therefore won't be paid untill the end of September . Only living off reduced tax credits and CSA ( which is very unreliable )

I could cry ,I don't know what I'm going to do and I can't see a way out. I know I only have myself to blame . I am more ashamed that I am going to have to let Moo down

Sad times ,very sad times .

I can't ask the bank of mum and dad as they have kindly lent me money to get new clothes for the new job.

if it is only petrol money you need, could you take something to cash converters or similar to get an injection of cash?

What about a crisis loan? for the bills?

You could just write to them and say you can't pay as you have lost your job?

Sorry to hear that things are so pants.

and Smilerwoman it is not my idea ref the frogs, but feel free to use it all the same
