It said 14 glasses for me. Which is 17.5 of the glasses we have for our water filter at work. Doesn't look like I'll be getting a lot done this year....:www: :: MFi3 ::

It said I need to drink 22 glasses of water a day. I'm lucky if I drink one - just not in favour of drinking anything
. I'm always getting moaned at!

The site is rubbish. It perpetuates the myth that we need to drink 2 litres of water a day in addition to eating. In fact the calculator said I have to drink 11 glasses a day which is ludicrous.
A long held belief is that it should be 8 glasses (2 litres) but even that is not based on anything scientific.
Here is an article de-bunking the myth and saying if you drink when you are thirsty then you should be ok (though if you are on holiday on the equator I'd suggest you drink before you get thirsty as you dehydrate faster). As it points out foods contain water already - bread is 35% water.
Not only that but drinks like tea do count towards that total.
So stop worrying, force drinking and spending your lives in the toilet and drink when you get thirsty instead.0
