Refurbished kindle wifi came today £79.99 looks brand new and came fully sealed,WoW,fantastic.Also got the case from ebay great for the price £3.89 see previous post.

Any good for a daughter who is 10 and wants one of these for her birthday?

Would/could only consider at the refurbished prices, and feel best to just go for 3G.

BUT, while I have stressed that she still needs to buy books (after getting the free ones!), I'm not convinced on whether it is a good thing for kids. We do travel abroad and camp so keeps luggage minimal.

Guess I'm asking if anyone has tried to download kids books and if there are enough at reasonable prices available. Also while I say to get a 3G one, would that really be needed for my daughter? What advantage for a child would it be.....just email?

I really want to buy on for me too but financially not poss. at the moment but if is going to be the thing to get for her, want to get this offer before it runs out.

Any experiences re kids and Kindle appreciated.
