My local sainsbugs hasnt had the Basics corned beef in stock for a couple of weeks and I refused to pay £2 for the OB. I was in today and the Basics were back on the shelf but now priced at £1.78, Im sure it was only £1.57 when I bought it a few weeks ago.
Have to say I'm in agreement with some of the other posters re the quality of the Basics corned beef, maybe I was lucky but I didn't come across any of those pink unchewable bits in it.Jan - June Grocery spends = £531.61
July - Grocery spends = £119.54
Aug - Grocery spends = £16.930 -
Aldi still have Hunters 340g tins at £1.39.Stompa0
