ooh i cant wait. Just wish i had the money for some new curtains. nevermind they can wait. tut keep telling myself if id not spent all this money then i could have them,
OMG i have just checked my credit rating. i have never ever missed a payment always managed more that minium (bc this month xtra 360) some are paid off and my score was 697 whats all that about? last time i checked and had alot more outstanding credit it was 999 so how come it would go down. it says it would be that score more thatn likely if you have missed payments? strange. i tried to get a 0% halifax card thought if i could switch egg 2 it would save 80 quid a month in interest. never mind onwards and upwards and kick those debts up the !!!!!!Mum 30k/29000

ok we back from dinner early i know but the youngsters wanted to go into town to party and we wernt invited lol. Had a bit of amare night. My mum bought me a diamond tennis bracelet couple of years ago and i lost in tonight. I had to pop to work earlier as for once i was ready an hour before we needed to go and it turned out it had fallen off in the car and fallen down the side of the car mat. Only just saw it when i picked my bag up i was mortified thinking i had lost it. It now back in the safety of jewellery box!!! that is the problem when someone gives you something like that you dont want to wear it incase you lose it.
Anyway starting to limber up for me decorating tomorrow. Another 70 quid in tin today s0 430/1900 going down!!!!Mum 30k/29000

Hi Jellybean, Despite lurking on here for quite a while, I haven't really posted much. I just wanted to say that I've read through your thread and you really are quite inspirational. Your situation is similar in some ways to mine; i.e there is money there to pay the debts, it's just a question of getting sorted and prioritising what and when. Your determination and drive is a real inspiration and has given me plenty of tips to take away and get me started on a debt free track!!
P.S I Like the thought of the signature.......slowly crossing off higher amounts for lower ones!!
Well done with your journey so far and good luck

Ah thanks hp48910
My inspiration has come from everyone on here. Its so nice to finally see them coming down. its annoying when you do a snowball and see how much interst goes on each month. mI just checked my bank account and even though its still od it is actually great not counting every last penny to see if im gonna pay this months bills. Have actually started a small savings account for emergencys as we have no back up and cant believe i have 120 quid in there in this short space to. i know u shouldnt save if u have debts but just need something incase washing machine or something packs up. I feel very privalaged because we havent defaulted it was down to sheer stupidness and overspending that got us in this mess and its up to us to sort it out. Have a look at gargave and millionare in training and skint but optimistics diraries if you havent already as they are the ones that have given me some good ideas. Once you start if becomes addivtive!! i used to play online bingo and this is now my new bingo site lol good luck with your journey. xMum 30k/29000

Yay to the fabby bedroom. Mine is getting a bit tired now as well and would probably cost about 50p to decorate it is so small but every penny is a prisoner :money:. You're doing brilliant and you are definitely getting the buzz from paying all this off. Feels great doesn't it. And imagine how well off we'll be when it's gone
:D:D. We'll be rich :rotfl:
